Total fab staff especially Leona from Liverpool. Right next door to Lidl for warm bread breakfast and self catering food. Dead convenient for town. Our go to place in Portishead.
I had an amazing weekend at Go 2 Portishead Marina Hotel. The experience was perfect from start to finish. The room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed — with a stunning window-side view of the marina that made mornings especially relaxing. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help, making me feel genuinely welcome throughout my stay. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged, ensuring total comfort and peace. I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway — highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful views and excellent service. I’ll definitely be returning!
Room is clean, the staff are very helpful . It's very good for the price. I've paid a lot more for for a lot worse. We are using it as a stop off to break our journey.
It's OK for a quick stop passing through. Would have expected the price to be under £100 per night for what it is. Basic, not the cleanest place. Rooms in need of refurbishment. Discoloured carpet, damaged furnishings, walk in shower/wet room was a pleasant surprise. Location in Portishead very good.
When they say budget hotel they mean budget hotel. Very Spartan room with just the basics. No hand towels, sheets that don't quite fit the bed, stark white walls no pictures, no net curtains so you have to keep the curtains closed, but it was very clean. However the staff were very nice and helpful.
Wow what a great place to stay. We had used ibis budget before in Cardiff and sworn off them. But on seeing the photo's of this one I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. The staff were so so helpful. We had an accessible room. There was plenty of room for the wheelchair, the bathroom was very big and more of a wet room. We also had our two dogs with us which were welcomed by the staff. Our room had a view over the marina , you have to cross one road. You have the choice of bottlene's, aqua or wetherspoons to eat. We will definitely be going and staying in this budget again. Five stars well deserved.
This place is a budget hotel. In fact a very cheap hotel. We had a day until we was allowed to check in to our accommodation for the week. This place was cheap and had parking. Do not expect any luxuries. There is a bed, TV and shower. You get what you pay for. If you want something a bit fancy this place is not for you. Was really happy to stay here for the night.
We had a twin bedded room on first floor looking out towards the marina. Room and bathroom perfectly clean, comfortable and adequate. We slept really well with no noise disturbance. The receptionist was delightful and helpful. Would have given 5 stars for a larger TV but room was well worth the price.
