    Not a hotel customer however had a takeaway dinner for 3 today honestly couldn’t believe the amount of food and variety of the veg and the quality of the food is amazing. Couldn’t fault the staff they did it last minute for us today and it exceeded my expectations and then some. Thankyou so much for the beautiful food will definitely be back again! Have dined in previously and has always had high food quality and large portions and friendly staff 10*

    Near Shirenewton but on the main road. Good access . Plenty of parking . Old fashioned pub . But the food is home cooked and tastes delicious . Managed a pudding that was lovely . Well worth a visit. Did not take advantage of the rooms there but the restaurant was clean and tidy , with good old fashioned welcome by the landlady .

    We went to a Christmas party. The hot buffet was lovely, very nice food! I'm wheat and gluten and intolerant, but there was plenty that I could eat. The barmaid put out all the food, it would've been nice to see a smile and she seemed a bit put out when a few asked for a coffee with the mince pies lol!

    Called in after a a walk in Wentwood Forest. Warm welcome. & Good service. Had drinks in the beer garden. Amazing new addition of the garden shed bar since my last visit. Will definitely be back. Dogs were welcome.

    We love it here.. food is amazing and staff cant do enough for you. Best roast dinner when dining out. We travel from Newport, cant beat it. Highly recommend the steaks in the week too, you wont be disappointed. Plus outstanding customer service xx
