   We couldn't recommend this nursery more. Our eldest child is now in the pre-school room having attended since he was 12 months and our youngest also recently started in the baby room when she turned one. We have enjoyed watching them both flourish under the care of all of the staff at all levels and stages of their nursery journey. They know each child so well and take care to listen to both the children and the parents. The variety of activities, experiences and day trips is excellent and they are constantly working to improve indoor and outdoor facilities. They also offer a farm school experience for over 3s at their sister nursery which our son loves. The menu is excellent. The leadership and communication is very strong.

   The team here have helped my son to thrive from baby room to preschooler - supporting him through various transitions and the pandemic (where they were especially amazing!). The setting and building is lovely, food is great and they offer wonderful trips and activities. It has a great atmosphere and also seems like a nice place to work - the staff are always happy, and appear to be supported with various training and development activities.

   Such a wonderful nursery! The staff strike the perfect balance of professionalism, organisation and approachability, and are always so happy to be with the children. The nursery itself is a lovely building with lots of different things to keep the kids busy, and an exciting garden out the back too. Highly recommended.

   My children absolutely love this nursery, they always have a fun filled and active day and the staff couldn’t do more for the children in their care. The ethos of the setting is completely centred around play and developing our children in a gentle, child led approach which I love. They involve parents as much as possible and keep us informed through the app. During Covid, restrictions are difficult for the nursery but it hasn’t changed the play centred approach or the importance of getting out of the nursery and into the community, the girls still go on walks and visit the park. I’m so pleased we chose Oldfield Road.

   The staff is very kind and they know all the children by name. They following the child’s interests and curiosities, every day is filled with cool activities and fun. Children spend a lot of time outside either in their garden or going for walks. They also have some animals to look after, which they enjoy. We really like the app which inform us about the day and we can see pictures or video as well. This nursery is focused on sustainability and recycling. They prefer wooden toys or real materials to plastic imitations. It is great to see, how our son returns from the nursery with big smile and full of nice experiences.

   I couldn't think of a better place to leave my children. It feels like everybody in Oldfield Nursery loves what they do and this shows in how much care, love and effort they put into looking after the children. We love how much information we get about the children's day; it feels so good to hear all about the cooking, playing, and discovering the children do everyday. Supporting staff always go the extra mile to support parents and children. All meals are healthy and nutritious and the whole place has a fantastically wholesome and ecological focus. Love love love.
