Managed to squeeze four of us in last night last minute! The go to spot for authentic Italian food. Food was, and is, always 10/10. Very reasonably priced. Thank you again!
I love a good Italian meal — and this one did not disappoint! This lovely restaurant had the most amazing, varied menu. I had the orecchiette pasta dish from the specials menu, served with Italian sausage, garlic, and broccoli. I also had the limoncello cheesecake for dessert. This was my first time trying orecchiette pasta, and although the slightly chewy texture surprised me at first, it turned out to be a really flavourful and amusing dish to eat. If you haven’t had orecchiette before, it’s definitely worth trying — it’s delicious. My sister and I shared a bottle of wine, and we both had a lovely time. A special mention to Antonio for looking after us so well! Would highly recommend this restaurant for cheap, tasty dinner.
Have been here for more than 5 times. With my friends, with my family, and with my partner. I'm never disappointed. The service is as good as the food. We all like Pizzeria Villaggio, especially someone in my family who is a pizza monster.
This restaurant is always busy so book in plenty of time. I had the ravioli and I loved it , well presented and worth it. Had dessert which was profiteroles and their is plenty to share most definitely. The downside was being sat opposite the toilet doors , asked the waiter if we could move to the table round the corner and they said yes. I just think having a table near toilet doors is no no . I will return again.
Absolutely delicious. Starters were very good, but the 2 pasta dishes we had blew us away, incredible flavours. Can't wait to go back. We had walk in, so only had a short time slot, really want to try the desserts.
Meal at @pizzeriavillaggiowhitchurch last night. It's a family owned italian restaurant in Whitchurch Cardiff. Beautifully cooked and tasty food. The lasagne was spot on. I would argue this place does the best Pizzas in Cardiff too. Go and book a table and check it out. Went there with my gym friends and the food was lovely. I had tagliatelle with mushroom and prawns. It was really delicious and prawns were so tasty and fresh. Would recommend anyone going there. Some of us ordered Calzone and other pastas and pizza, too. They said it was delicious, too. It was busy in there as I think people were having their Christmas do. But it felt really nice and the staff were very good and cheerful. Would highly recommend this place.
Took my family here for a birthday meal. Pizzeria Villagio was absolutely fantastic! The fantastic menu, the quality of the ingredients & flavour, and the outstanding service made for a highly enjoyable experience, everyone enjoyed themselves and were very happy that I'd brought them here, we will definitely be back, and cannot recommend them enough to everyone else, you will not be disappointed! Two of my favourite things were the Salsiccia (I absolutely love this sausage, I get it all the time when outside of the UK, but it has been difficult to find here, until now) and the Orecchiette Boscaiola (Italian sausage and mushrooms cooked in a creamy white wine sauce) which was honestly one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, it's now a firm favourite!
Fantastic food with the best calzone I've ever had - both my partner and I love it so much we keep going back! Great atmosphere with the right combination of modern restaurant and classic Italian. The staff are friendly and attentive, and service has always been fast and professional. This was both mine and my partner's birthday meal out choice and it did not fail to deliver - excellent both times. Would definitely recommend! Also would recommend booking a table as they are (with good reason) very popular.
So glad we found this place! The food is fantastic, one of the best Italians I've ever had. The service was great, with food and drinks arriving quickly and found it very reasonably priced. Lovely restaurant, looking forward to returning soon!
