“After walking around Cardiff market and heading upstairs I stumbled upon this pizza place and there was no way I was walking past without giving one a go. I’m so glad that I did because what fantastic pizza! The pizza was cooked to perfection and full of flavour and all of the menu was reasonably priced. There was a long wait for the pizza to arrive and the extra topping I asked for the guy did make up a price on the spot at £4 which I thought was a little much. But overall I would recommend as it’s some of the best pizza around and it was also great to see this type of place situated in Cardiff market.”

“Pizza Pronto catered our event over the weekend and we just had to leave a review. Jac and the team did an amazing job creating a fantastic atmosphere turning an ordinary venue into what felt like a bustling Italian street party. The team’s ability to churn out pizzas without any diminishing quality is truly admirable. The chefs provided a set menu with an amazing selection of pizzas plus also let guests modify and remove toppings when requested.”

“Lived in Caerphilly 11+ years and have never been here. Decided to change that and went this week. Lovely service. Went for my mums birthday and the range of vegetarian and vegan options were fantastic. Would have liked more potatoes and less veg with the steak and a wider range of sauces, but it was cooked to perfection. Starters were amazing, would have liked slightly more prawns and slightly less tomatoes and salad - for £10.50”

“The service and atmosphere was amazing. The food was spectacular and prices were affordable. Me and my friends walked straight in and got served when we didn't reserve. After finishing food, I unintentionally left my pizza takeaway box in the restaurant which got binned. The waitress immediately apologised when I returned to collect my pizza, realising I have forgotten it. Franco Manca made me another pizza, free of charge. I really appreciated this, would definitely recommend others to come.”

“What am amazing pleasant experience dining here was last night, the staff were so friendly, service was so good and the food was amazing. I went for the specials, an amazing burrata, pesto and cherry tomato dish for starters which is so so good. For main the special was a fish ravioli, the ravioli was made from black ink pasta and (normal) pasta so it was white on one side and black on the other, it was filled with sea bass and prawns and the fish sauce was amazing. Such a delicate dish. It's nice to dine somewhere where you get such good food and service and still get get a decent bottle of wine for under £23. (The expensive pallet was also catered for with an extensive wine list available). Thanks for making us feel so welcome, and a lovely evening.”

“Wandered by just after 5. Noticed this place had an "all you can eat buffet". Ordering three dishes at a time you are served very quickly. To begin I had California Maki which was lovely served with wasabi and ginger. Then miso soup which to be honest I didn't like the large slices of mushroom and tofu. The soup overall was tasty though. I finished round 1 with prawn and chicken yakisoba. This had a king prawn with several pieces of chicken and LOTS of noodles. Round 2 consisted of crispy chicken Maki and egg fried rice with charcoal grill chicken teriyaki which was absolutely delicious. Nice place, would visit again.”

Sadly we're not from the area and only working down here for two weeks. When you work away a lot you relay on Google for good reviews, which we use a lot. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!! “A Unique and Fun Team Activity – Pizza Making at Its Best! I was tasked with organising a staff social for a small group from our Cardiff-based team, and wanted to do something a bit different—ideally something food-related and hands-on. As a pizza lover, I hoped to find a local pizza-making class, but came up short… until I spotted that The Real Italian Pizza Co offered children’s pizza parties. We reached out, and they were happy to adapt the experience for adults. So we booked it—and we’re so glad we did. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Hester and Shesna, who greeted us with generous antipasto platters and offered drinks as we settled in. Once we were all fed and ready, Chef Kris took over and the real fun began. He gave us a quick intro to the pizza dough process, explaining the ingredients and techniques involved, and then we got hands-on with some dough kneading. It was a relaxed, friendly session—perfect for a group with mixed levels of culinary confidence! We moved on to shaping pizzas using pre-proven dough, choosing from a wide selection of fresh toppings. Kris talked us through the stretching technique and even joked that one of our team had shaped theirs so well, they might be hired on the spot. Finally, we brought our pizzas to the oven where Kris gave each one a final flourish before expertly firing them. Within minutes, we had our creations back, piping hot and delicious—ready to eat and compare (with plenty of banter, of course). Overall, it was a brilliant afternoon—something a bit different, easy to organise, and very well hosted. We’d definitely recommend it as a fun, food-focused alternative to the usual team lunch.”

“Good food, if you don't mind hair in your food, I am bald and clean shaven, so the 20cm hair that I had to remove from my mouth clearly wasn't mine. The staff didn't apologise, didn't offer replacement food, or reduction of the bill, after I spoke they offered to buy us a round of drinks, 2 of our party were drinking water, having decided that we would leave, we did finish the food in front of us, they the let us have the drinks free.
