We enjoyed festive afternoon tea at the Laguna Kitchen where we were served by the wonderful Kamal. The afternoon tea was delicious with a great choice in teas, but our experience was really topped off by Kamal who helped entertain our little one throughout our meal, and ensured we were well catered for. A very kind and professional person!
We went here for my 50th birthday. We had afternoon tea. The food was lovely and some amazing deserts. Everyone enjoyed. The staff are friendly enough. Came out with a cake and happy birthday writen on plate with sparkler. I really enjoyed.
Over the years I have stayed at many hotels, each usually with their own restaurant, few are good, some mediocre and many are poor. Out of all the hotels I've stayed at I'm happy to say that the Chefs at this restaurant are why I return and why I'd say it's somewhere within my personal top 3 hotel restaurants I've dined at. The food is always genuinely excellent, a particular favourite is the scotch egg with pea puree and bacon jam... a good reason in itself to return! The pork belly with fennel, cabbage, potato gratin and sage stuffing is another excellent dish, each element is clearly treated with care and skill which absolutely shows in the finished product. Thank you to the chef for making another night away from home a little more tolerable by way of excellent cookery.
What a beautiful place to dine. This is the second time I came to this restaurant for a special occasion & it’s definitely worth 5 stars. The staff are very friendly & always come back to check if we are happy with our food & the atmosphere is so lovely & elegant too! I would definitely recommend coming here you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back here again! Our hostess for the night was a lovely lady called Georgina & she was so welcoming & friendly. Very impressed!
We love coming here and we always do the Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea! Each time we have been it’s always been a different take on it but always delivers!!! Can’t wait to be back again! Thanks to all the staff, their service never fails, also David Scott what a fantastic host and super tentative person! Can’t wait to come back!
Great experience and excellent service. 1st time I have been here and it was excellent. The service was very good and well worth a visit. The food was wonderful and a good range of tea's and coffee. Very reasonable price for the quality of food and the service.
We had the afternoon tea as part of the Relax Spa Experience package. The staff were fantastic - we all had different dietary requirements (regular, dairy free and vegan) and they were very helpful and considerate in preparing the food. The little hot food selection and sandwiches were fantastic, and both the dairy free and vegan substitutes were delicious. The freshly baked scone was everybody's favourite. The dairy free and vegan dessert plates were disappointing though, we didn't end up eating any of them. Lovely choice of teas to choose from and the dining room is very well presented. Decently priced and a fun experience.
We bought a package of spa treatment and meal. The £5 olive bowl only has 10 olives, they charge extra £10 for the sirloin to have a tomato, mushroom and fries, which is included in the price with the chicken and the fish. They forgot to bring the bread for the soup. I definitely wouldn't go back.
Had a later dinner, and there weren’t many customers. Staff certainly are tentative and friendly. Food are tasty and have good portions. For the main, I ordered the sea bass which is tender and has crispy skins.
This was a great place to eat. The afternoon tea was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed. The food was really tasty. The service was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The staff were accommodating and had children with us and they made sure accommodated for them. The afternoon tea was worth the money. Would recommend.
