   Really good atmosphere went for a bingo night. The brilliant host kept us all laughing, and I won, which was a bonus. Following our bingo night revisited this friendly cosy country pub for a lunch which was brilliant I had a prawn cocktail and mixed grill which was cooked to perfection and had good quality meats. The service was excellent and very friendly. I would definitely recommend you visit

   I ordered the large breakfast, and wow — this was nothing like the “large” portions you usually get! It was massive. The eggs were cooked perfectly to order, the sausages were huge and top quality, and the bacon… well, it was proper bacon, just how it should be. I honestly couldn’t even finish it all — seriously filling and delicious. Shoutout to Louise at the bar, who was super attentive and friendly. She even showed me the other menus and gave some great recommendations. Service like that makes all the difference. All in all, amazing food, huge portions, and really welcoming staff. Can’t wait to come back and try a roast next — definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

   We visited on a Sunday morning for breakfast with our dog and sat outside in the garden. We ordered the full English breakfast. We did not have to wait to long before our breakfast came which was hot and tasty (loved the fried bread not always an option today). The staff were attentive and friendly. Plenty of parking. Will definitely visit again

   Hi, came here for the first time today for a meal & we both really enjoyed the mixed grill & rump steak, service excellent too, food was cooked perfectly to order and we both agree that the steaks were the best we have had in many years. The Guinness was perfect. Thank you for a brilliant meal 5☆s to everyone.

   Ate Sunday dinner here not long ago and it was pretty good. The presentation and food quality was good, and quite tasty. The staff were friendly and efficient, though the pub itself felt a bit rundown. There is plenty of parking out back and prices were pretty average for a pub Sunday dinner.

   Wasn’t the best visit. Ordered jacket potatoes which the guy at the till put through for us. Around 10/15 minutes later they let us know that they did not have jacket potatoes and we could have a sandwich instead as they didn’t know how to refund. When the food arrived we were not given any cutlery or serviettes. The area we were sat in also smelt of damp which wasn’t pleasant. The food was basic.

   Went in for something to eat. I had the pie and my wife had the steak. The pie filling was over cooked and the mash was cold. I asked for peas and got a selection of greens that were over boiled. One was cucumber?? My wife's steak had more gristle than beef jerky. And the chips were really greasy. Never again
