The food was average and didnβt quite capture the flavours of traditional Indian cuisine, something felt a bit off in the seasoning. On the positive side, the service was attentive, and the restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. Overall, it was an okay experience, though I do wish the food had been more flavourful. It was also slightly on the expensive side, our group of 15 ended up paying over Β£50 per person.

Located in a prime location in Cardiff city centre, nicely decorated and we were accommodated without a reservation. Service was friendly and reasonably quick, certainly no issues. Menu was attractive and varied. I was quite surprised by the prices compared to other Indian restaurants I've been to. Most main course dishes were around the Β£14 mark. When you add rice or whatever your choice is, it's very nearly Β£20 just for your main course. The bottled Cobra was Β£7.15 and they duplicated a couple of small items on the bill that I didn't notice until the next day, albeit on a few quid. The food was of good quality, with my chicken being very tender but disappointingly mild considering it was shown on the menu as being the highest level of spice offered. It was a nice experience but I wouldn't rush back. 3 of us, 1 drink each, no starter or desert, poppadoms and main course. Just under Β£100. A bit pricey.

Delicious and well made Indian food. The chicken Tikka starter was tender and flavorful, and the butter chicken was rich and creamy. Superb friendly service

I had a truly lovely experience at The Spice Quarter in Cardiff. I visited there during the afternoon, and it was such a delightful way to spend my lunchtime. The food was absolutely amazingβfull of authentic flavors that really transported me to different parts of India,As someone who enjoys eating curries from around the globe, I can honestly say this place stood out for its genuine and rich taste. I own Lonely Traveler Productions, a company dedicated to exploring culinary delights worldwide, and I must say, The Spice Quarterβs authenticity really impressed me. I enjoyed every bite and appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Iβll definitely be returning for more delicious curries and to experience more of what they have to offer.

Booked this restaurant at very short notice and were easily accommodated. When we arrived, we were very taken in by the beautiful decor. The service started off being very attentive, but very quickly started to feel as if we were being rushed through our food and out the restaurant as quickly as possible. The food was absolutely delicious, with some curries I had never come across before, the leftovers the next day were very good also. The bill was also extremely reasonable for a restaurant in the centre of Cardiff. Overall a very good restaurant, although the service would put me off visiting again in the future.

Lovely Indian in the lively brewery quarter. Friendly staff, though they seemed to be short staffed, so service was a little slow. Food was really delicious and they tried to be accommodating as possible.

My go to Indian restaurant when in center of Cardiff. They do more traditional Indian dishes. My Madras could of been hotter in spice levels. Beer when waiting, Madras, bindi, pilau rice and naan bread for around Β£26. Nice decor and friendly staff.

Lovely quite ambiance.food was delivered quickly. Starters were really tasty but the quality wasnβt worth price. The mains the chilli murg was good but the murg biriyani was okay.Lacked flavour and felt blanch. Overall not worth the price.
