Extremely dry! I've never had bone dry chips from a chip shop. Awful curry sauce and dry sausage in batter. It wasn't cheap either, I'm sure I was overcharged purposely. I will not be returning!
I ordered here for the first time and spent £15, thinking I’d get a decent deal. But while I was waiting, I saw the cashier give the exact same order to another customer for less money. It was clearly the same items, yet I was charged more. This is extremely disappointing and feels unfair — especially for a first-time customer. If prices vary like that depending on who you are or who’s taking the order, that’s not right. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to others. Transparency and honesty matter, and unfortunately, I didn’t find that here.
First time ordering and won't be ordering again. Ordered haddock, chips, saveloy, and curry sauce 40 minutes late (had to call twice to chase it up), and then the haddock was cold, greasy, and soggy and the number of bones?! Honestly, every mouthful was like 20% bones. Ended up binning it It's a shame because the chips and curry sauce were nice, although only luke warm Unfortunately, bone-filled fish is a huge red flag for a chippy so it's a huge no from me. Won't ever order from here again
Real shame, food was hard and definitely reheated. Ordered battered sausage, and recieved a tasteless brick that was definitely WAY too hot to be fresh, as someone that's worked in the industry, I know reheated microwaves food when I see it. DISAPPOINTING
Food is delicious!! This is not like your standard fish & chip shop. Menu is massive, place is clean and they have so many lovely meal options. I had a few things off the menu and did not disappoint. Customer seemed is excellent and staff are so friendly.
Absolutely dreadful service. First time I’ve ever ordered from here and defiantly the last. Ordered a large kebab costing £10 which was well well overdone and wouldn’t feed a 12 year old. Rang them up to explain the concern which he said .. the large is the large and the medium is the medium .. if you don’t line the size don’t order ever again .. gobsmacked to say the least!
Nice food, but what a rip off. £29 2 small kebabs 1 chips 2 cans 5 delivery ..
I am visiting relatives in the area just travelled down from the northwest. The shop advertised 10pm closing. On entering the shop it looked like they were closing. But served me. To be honest I was not happy with the food threw most it away. would not use again. Sorry
Absolutely vile don't waste your money! The fish was full of bones, had all its scales and was clearly refried as it was dry and rubbery. For fish, chips, mushy peas, chicken kebab wrap and chips was £15!!
