   I went recently for a pre-organised Christmas meal. There was no drinks reception as planned, the champagne was warm, the kids' food arrived late and burnt, and what had been agreed upon in the booking was not followed at all. They even tried to charge us for 2 guests who had cancelled, although on the phone they said it was fine. Overall, the service was disorganised and disappointing.

   Lovely looking restaurant. The menu was a little limited and I would have liked to have seen more gluten free options. Service was great to start with but the waiter was chewing gum which really shouldn’t be allowed and once we finished our food we weren’t approached to see if we wanted anything else or our Bill. Great location and great environment though and the welcome juice in the foyer was amazing!

   I had dinner at this restaurant twice during my stay at the hotel, and I must say, the staff were fantastic. You can really tell they enjoy their jobs – they were warm, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. On the first night, I had the burger and chips, and it was delicious! I’d definitely recommend it full of flavour and cooked perfectly. On the second night, I went for the ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce was very watery, and the steak didn’t quite look or taste like a typical ribeye. The fries were a bit inconsistent too the ones on top were great, but the ones at the bottom were overcooked and hard. That said, overall I still had a great experience, and the stunning views added a special touch. The outstanding service really stood out and made all the difference!

   It’s the hotel restaurant, beautifully designed. The beer and Italian wine were nice. The food was good quality, I didn’t like the onion rings that much, but the rest was very nice. The service was good and the staff were nice and polite. I recommend this restaurant. It also has a very beautiful balcony, a nice place you can drink and look at the bay.

   This dining experience fell far short of a 5-star rating. Despite arriving for dinner at 19:00, we endured an extensive wait until 20:00 for our food that failed to meet expectations. The drinks were average and we billed for the subpar experience. Overall, the dining quality was lacking and left much to be desired.

   We enjoyed a beautiful mother's day here. The beef dinner with all the trimings was absolutely amazing. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The service is quick and efficient and for a five star hotel I found it reasonably priced. We enjoyed the panoramic veiw sitting in the windows of all Cardiff bay has to offer. Highly recommend a visit

   Came to Tir a Mor since we didn't plan our dinners staying in St Davids well. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The service was lovely, and all the food came out hot and in good time. For the starter, we shared the Roasted pumpkin, and red chilli hummus, crispbread (ve), which was excellent. For mains, we had the catch of the day and lamb rump. The lamb was absolutely stunning. Everything about it was 10/10. Unfortunately, the catch of the day was quite bland and, for me personally, over-peppered. I wholeheartedly recommend the Dark chocolate and orange delice, Cointreau gel, honeycomb, and blood orange sorbet (v) dessert. It was absolutely amazing. I could have eaten 3 for my whole dinner.

   Good execution on classic fish and chips. The restaurant had a good choice of starters and nibbles. Views are one of the best for Cardiff. Seating indoors and outdoors. The char griller fish burger was great too (super soft). Desert execution (visually and taste) was good too

   My family and I went for afternoon tea at the Admiral and we absolutely loved it. The staff were attentive, the food was beautiful and the atmosphere was so welcoming. The views on the balcony over to Penarth were just breathtaking. We'll definitely be back.
