Somewhere we try to go everytime we're in Cardiff. The food never disappoints and the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. You never feel rushed and the staff are very patient explaining everything on the menu as needed. We never remember to take photos because the food is so good we start eating as they're putting it down.

Very disappointing experience. We were a large group and waited almost two hours for food, and when it finally arrived, many dishes were barely warm. Several plates had to be sent back. We were told replacements would be freshly prepared, yet they came out again within minutes — and one member of staff even admitted they had only been reheated. The prawns also had a strong, unpleasant smell, so we refused to eat them. Unfortunately, a number of us became ill afterward, which has raised serious concerns about the food safety. Even the rice was brought out ten minutes before the curries, meaning it was cold by the time anything else arrived. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this was unacceptable both in terms of food quality and service and I hope the restaurant takes action to improve.

Went on 03/10/25. Sadly, waited an hour for starters, main course wasn't hot, a few of the staff were not friendly at all. Lipstick on my wife's napkin. Too many other great Indian/ Bangladeshi restaurants out there to give a second chance

Ordered some food here tonight for the first time and received a meal with sharp pieces of metal in it! Never known anything like it! Called them right away to let them know about this and offered to give them these pieces but not interested. Apologised and arranged refund and gift voucher. Obviously this was both my first and last order here. So disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, the service was excellent. The food was incredibly delicious, with generous portion sizes that really impressed us. We were also offered the option to have our leftovers packed to take away, which was thoughtful and appreciated. To top it all off, the complimentary chocolate with the bill was a lovely final touch. Highly recommended!

Service was appalling. We were ignored most of the time, we were not offered another drink after our first, no one came to check whether we enjoyed our food, if they had, they would have seen that I hadn't eaten mine. The food description isn't accurate, I chose something that from the description led me to believe was mild but it wasn't so I couldn't eat it. It took us far too long to get the attention of anyone working as they seemed to rather be wooing and talking to regulars. Was an altogether unpleasant and disappointing experience.

Food was well flavoured with just the right level of spicing. However my Murghi Masala had more ghee than is probably healthy. The service was slightly odd - when I asked if I could have my starter without the side salad I was told just to leave it on the side?! Also the waiter didn't seem able to explain the difference between three fish starters which had similar names and descriptions. However the food arrived promptly and the portions were ample. The naan breads we're excellent. Overall we had an enjoyable meal and would return.

Excellent £10 set menu which we enjoyed on a Saturday lunchtime. Good choice of around 5 starters & mains with rice & naan included. Great value & food was lovely with good service & sensibly priced drinks. Definitely worth a visit

The food was very nice. Service is poor. I have been to the Juboraj a few times over the years as it is close to home. I have never felt welcome there and I always get the feeling that they are trying to get you out of there as quickly as possible. We had to wait for our table, had to ask for drinks. Our main course arrived whilst we were still eating our poppadoms and they quickly whipped the accompanying dips away. We were still eating our main course and they asked if we had finished. It was obvious we hadn't. It really felt as if staff just wanted to go home. Not good.
