I'm unsure if the reviews are manipulated or biased, but this establishment did not meet expectations. After spending £250 on a meal for our family group, we left feeling extremely disappointed. The staff were unhelpful and the service was slow and unprofessional. The food was underwhelming and poorly prepared, and we believe we would have been better off ordering a takeaway from a more reputable restaurant. Frustrated and annoyed, I don't wish to elaborate further, but I strongly advise others to save their money and time by choosing a different venue. I guess the fact they could fit us in at whatever time we wanted should have been a sign…

I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was younger and it’s a monthly repeat for me and my family. This Chinese restaurant offers an authentic dining experience paired with excellent customer service in a warm, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The staff is quick and attentive, ensuring that your needs are met promptly throughout your visit. Dimsum menu spot on!

Being a Cantonese born and raised in HK, this is an authentic Cantonese restaurant and one of the best Dim Sum places that I have been. You will not be disappointed! Make sure you go with a large group of friends or family so you can taste as many dishes as you could.

We ate so much food omg, food is so good and well-priced. Definitely come here, especially for authentic Chinese food that isn’t gonna break the bank. Has so much to choose from too :)))

Speaking from someone grew up in Hong Kong like me, the dim sum are quite authentic especially the egg tarts which are made with puff pastry!!! Although the general atmosphere and decoration is bit old fashioned and dim, it is surprisingly clean and tidy. Would definitely revisit if go to Cardiff again.

I have been here a few times for dim sum and dinner. As someone from Hong Kong, the food is definitely authentic for a Cantonese restaurant and made me felt at home, and the food quality is decent. The environment is a bit dimmed for my liking. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for Chinese/Cantonese food in Cardiff, and would definitely visit again.

Decent overall, however we were served cold taro croquettes and when we told them they said it’s supposed to be cold (which I’ve never had before). We were able to cancel and not be charged. The jasmine tea is too weak. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value ⭐️⭐️ Vibe ⭐️⭐️

This is a long established restaurant located in the suburbs of Cardiff for well over 30 years. Management has changed a number of times over this period but unfortunately, the interior decor hasn't. It's dated hardware, dirty stinking carpets, awful lighting and leaking roof through the suspended ceiling would benefit a full refurbishment. Food Standards Hygiene rating currently displayed on the front door is 1/5, so not good. The restaurant is unsuitable for wheelchair users as first floor is mainly used with no lift access. Table service is often slow and understaffed particularly during weekends, however, it was much better and friendly today as the restaurant was not busy during lunchtime. Despite the poor hygiene rating, the quality of the food is generally acceptable, but not always consistent.

A local Chinese friend told us that this is the place to go for amazing Cantonese dim sum. We are from Hong Kong and thought this has to be tried to be believed. Well we went for a Saturday lunch and it was busy with plenty of Chinese people so that's a good sign. We ordered 12 dishes and we weren't disappointed. The dim sum was spot on. There were minor differences but that is part of the charm. The décor reminds me of a Cantonese Hong Kong restaurant that has been around for a long time and this one has been and for good reason. The food was fresh and very tasty. I felt at home in Hong Kong it brought back fond memories and I felt very comfortable there. Everything was of a high standard and I saw mainland Chinese, local Welsh and Brits and Indians who were queueing up to eat here. It shows how diverse the customers are. Well I am going post photos as photos beat any description I can give. Please press like if you found my review helpful. Thank you. Oh they have Chinese desserts this is amazing to find out and eat.
