The hidden gem of the best Indian curry. It's very clean restaurant with table cloth and comfortable chairs. The food is amazing, and they are happy to adjust anything to your taste if you wish. Very friendly people.
My favourite! You can really taste the difference between a ‘usual Indian takeaway’ and Shoboraj. Much more authentic, you can taste the depth of ingredients and the texture is perfect. Always great service and quick to accommodate.
Staying away In Newport for work and came across this restaurant as it was close by. Where do I start? The food was incredible from start to finish. The lamb chops were tender and flavoursome accompanied with a salad and yoghurt sauce packed with flavour. Then the main..a dish recommended by the host to suit my preference something that packs a punch but isn’t too hot…and oh lord did they deliver. Absolutely unreal Indian food that leaves you full..happy..and wanting more. Side note..one of the best if not the best naan bread I’ve ever eaten. The only downside is that I don’t live here so I can’t come back every single weekend.
Best curry house in Newport. Food is delicious, cooked fresh and great flavour. All the staff are so helpful and on the ball. Service is excellent. There were 11 of us in total and not a single thing wrong with any of our meals. Thank you again for a great meal!
Ate here on a Tuesday. Never been before but we're staying local to the area. Didn't book, restaurant (which is relatively small) was full so we waited for a table for 10min. Decided to eat here as the reviews were good and I can confirm the food was lovely aka lush. There were three of us and the quality of the dishes was very high. Service from all staff was polite and efficient and I would recommend this family run restaurant to anyone that enjoys a quality indian/Bangladesh meal. Recommended
From the moment you walk through the door you feel the warmth of the welcome by staff intent on giving you the best dining experience. The menu is expansive with the best of Bangladeshi cuisine. We were lucky that Sunny was there to help us in our choices of starter and main courses, all served beautifully presented and piping hot. I can't recommend enough that you try this restaurant. Superb food and polite and courteous staff. Make sure to book as you'd hate to be disappointed.

Food was excellent, staff was very accommodating. Worth booking as it was very busy at 6pm on a Saturday when we visited The friendly staff found us a table and we were not rushed at all. Definitely worth a visit.
