Poor standards for a national restaurant. Lack of customer focus, orders forgotten, drinks not available, meals over cooked, payment extremely difficult.

Me and my partner went twice over our weekend away. Lovely server with curly hair on both friday and sunday. He was very attentive! Food was very delicious!

Service was great and the food was fairly enough priced and enjoyable. Obviously it’s not a fine dining restaurant but it is a very nice family restaurant. No significant issues at all.

A nice little beefeater located just outside of Newport. The staff were super friendly and welcomed me into the restaurant quickly and to a nice clean table. The menu is currently in the throws of Christmas so there's a nice selection of different items to choose from rather than the standard beefeater fare. I was served nice and quickly with all food well presented and really well cooked. I only had a few drinks but these were well served and brought to my table super fast also. A nice Beefeater which is well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Excellent food and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was piping hot and there was a nice atmosphere. Quite busy which was actually nice to see. It would have been a little better if they had kept the second door shut rather than propped open as when people walked in there was a rush of cold air through the restaurant. Overall though, excellent and we will return.

Good food which is what you expect at a Beefeater. Nice restaurant with a good setting. Disappointing service. Felt completely ignored and had to ask to order drinks, then ask to order food as nobody came to take our order.

1st visit to meet friends we haven't seen for a long time. Pleasant enough inside and staff friendly. We all had the breaded mushrooms to start. They were very hard, unable to push a fork through unless you held them with your fingers., everyone's were the same, a bit over done I think. Main was ok the pulled beef was delicious but some of the fries were very crispy a tad over cooked.

I've not been here for quite a while (probably 2-3 years because of lockdown) but spec in for some food recently as I wanted somewhere local and fancied a change in menus. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was fairly quiet and we gor a table straight away. I did note that staff were not wearing masks. We had a few small issues with our order - ice came in drinks that were ordered without, corn on the cob was missing from one of my children's meals and I ordered fried instead of chunky chips but chunky arrived. The kids meals were ok, but both of them had pizzas and one was very burnt, as you can see from the photo which meant that she wouldn't eat it. Overall good service and food bit the attention to detail was lacking.
