Fantastic! We managed to get a table of 4 on a Friday night despite the restaurant being very busy. All of the people who helped us were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was great, would definitely eat here again!
Driving through Caerphilly and Called at 5:30pm on a Saturday on the off chance for some lunch to see if they had a table for two, they accommodated and said we could have a. Table in 10 minutes. On arrival it was happy hour on the cocktails so the Mrs was happy 2 for £15. We ordered starters and mains. Wife had a prawn cocktail, I had belly pork with a sticky bourbon sauce. The wife said it was the best prawn cocktail she’d ever had. Belly pork was good. I was lucky on mains as there was only 1 fillet steak left and so grateful as it was stunning. The wife had chicken tarragon, both meals were beautiful. The waiters and waitresses were working hard yet always happy and professional. A little gem of a place with a great view of the castle. We will be going back.
Nice restaurant in the town centre with an amazing view on the castle. The service was good and the price of the set lunch menu is quite good, but since it’s an Italian restaurant I was exercising a different selection of dishes, would have liked a couple more traditional choices for the mains and dessert. Anyway would recommend it for a quick bite while you’re visiting the city.
We arrived late on Sunday afternoon and initially they said the kitchen is closed but the manager gave us a table (for 9 of us) and we had a great time. The food and drinks were excellent and the service was very good too. Of course the view to the castle was amazing but we paid more attention to the food than to the castle!!
We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here!! It's was an amazing experience with an amazing castle view and the staff made it more special... The staff served us in house Prosecco as a celebration toast for our special day which melted my heart....
Had lunch here when visiting the castle. Glad we spotted it (it's on the first floor by the Tommy Cooper statue). Great tapas and some good Welsh menu options. Brilliant service. Definitely worth a visit.
Cod loin and garlic mushrooms, it was incredible probably one of the most perfectly cooked pieces of fish I’ve had, lovely view from the restaurant they were technically fully booked when I walked in but I was alone on a business trip And they found room for me. Nice place. Only thing I’d of put no salad with the mushrooms, more muhrooms and the ciabatta next to the mushrooms not under them it turned the bread soggy.
