We have been getting food from here for over 10 years and never once had a meal we didn't thoroughly enjoy. The staff are fantastic and so friendly and the food is always delicious. Best around.
Sam provided outstanding services and was very friendly and interactive. His son also cooked delicious meals. Sam is hilarious, and I received the best services ever.
Had takeaway from here so many times and we’ve never had a bad meal. Great service and always delicious. Tastes fresh, good amount of meat in dishes and spice levels are spot on. Eaten in on a few occasions too - can’t fault Sam and the boys!
First time visiting the Spice Ambassador for my wife's birthday and with friends who recommended the restaurant ( Jason) Have to say its the best meal and service from the owner Sam, and his son we have ever had. His speciality and unique approach to his dishes make this simply one of the best Indian restaurants I have been too. Superb... thank you Sam... we will be back
A Feast Worth Twenty Years Tonight was something truly special. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love food—especially curry. For the past two decades, I’ve been part of a very exclusive curry club. This evening marked our 20th anniversary celebration. Over the years, we’ve wandered the spicy trails of South Wales, sampling curries in countless venues—some unforgettable, others less so. To mark the occasion, we turned to our favourite chef: Sam of The Spice Ambassador, in Taff’s Well. And he absolutely delivered. Every course built upon the last, a crescendo of flavour and fragrance. The aromas were intoxicating, the meat melt-in-the-mouth tender and soaked in rich, complex spices. Now, I’ve never been particularly keen on fish curries, but the homemade monkfish creation Sam served tonight... I’d call it a culinary epiphany. An utter revelation. It changed the game. Sam himself is a gem: humble, gracious, deeply knowledgeable, and burning with passion for what he does. He treats every customer like an old friend—but tonight, he reminded us it’s no act. It’s just who he is. This was, without exaggeration, the finest meal I’ve ever eaten. Roll on our 21st celebration!
We have been visiting The Spice Ambassador for almost 2 years. Mallard, Hal, Sam, and the staff are lovely people. food is fab. Great atmosphere. Probably the best restaurant for miles around.

This is honestly the best curry I have ever eaten without a doubt! The service makes you feel extremely welcomed, almost as if you're family! Highly recommend to anyone! Would of been more stars if they were available! Thank you for a wonderful meal ... EVERYTIME!
Fantastic food as allways and great sevice from Ash and sons Best Chicken Jalfrezi I've ever tasted . Never had a bad meal here in a dozen times . Very HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
