We visited in September 2025 and trying to find a product. Couldn't find it, Approached staff Khye lovely gentleman who himself couldn't find it, however he approached the other staff who came and found the product for him. I would like to appreciate Khye's accountability towards his customers, perseverance in meeting the client's needs and his professionalism are highly commendable. Thank you Khye! You saved my day.

Stepping into The Range in Leicester is less a shopping trip and more a miserable exercise in navigating utter chaos. While the brand promises a wide selection of household goods, this particular branch is fundamentally defined by its deep disorganisation and operational shambles, serving as a firm deterrent for anyone seeking a functional retail experience. The merchandising strategy here is truly incoherent. It’s a baffling, haphazard mix of supposed high-end decor and shoddy, mass-produced tat that leaves the shopper completely unsure of the store's identity or purpose. Beyond the aesthetic confusion, the store is fundamentally untidy, often hazardous. Aisles are perpetually disjointed, poorly stocked, and actively choked with misplaced goods, turning the simplest purchase into a frustrating, time-consuming, and potentially dangerous hunt. The layout isn't just labyrinthine; it often feels actively hostile to the shopper, offering little convenience or logic. Adding to the miserable environment is the management. The gruff and seemingly indifferent manager—an elderly man described as coarse-spoken and bow-legged—sets a clear tone from the top. His oversight, coupled with the reliance on a high-turnover student workforce, results in a noticeable absence of customer focus or retail discipline. The staff are present, but the lack of cohesive direction under such management ensures that the store’s underlying chaos persists, leading to poor shelf upkeep and little assistance when needed. The unfortunate truth is that this branch simply doesn't measure up to local competitors. If you are looking for genuine value, predictable stock, and a functional, stress-free shopping experience for household basics, do not waste your time here. B&M is vastly superior, offering a cleaner environment, clearer product lines, and a straightforward retail approach that values the customer’s time. Avoid The Range in Leicester until its operational standards dramatically improve.

5-Star Review for The Range Store Leicester I recently purchased some beautiful garden furniture from The Range, and I couldn’t be more pleased with both the product and the service I received. The furniture is not only gorgeous but also incredibly comfortable! However, what truly made my experience stand out was the exceptional customer service. The store manager, Nick, was incredibly helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. I also have to give a huge shout-out to Steve, whose efforts went above and beyond anything I could have expected. Steve, along with Reece, helped me load the furniture into my car and even dismantled parts of it to ensure everything fit! Their kindness, patience, and commitment to going the extra mile really impressed me. As someone who’s done plenty of shopping over the years, I can honestly say that this level of service ranks among the best I’ve ever encountered. Thank you so much to Nick, Steve, Reece, and the rest of the team at The Range. I really appreciate all your help and support with my purchase!

I went to "The Range" on the 3rd of September as a surprise by my Carer. It is an underestimated comment when I say "The Range" is an Interesting and surprising place to shop. It is beautifully presented has 2 escalators, One to come up and and One to go down. A large selection of products, something for everyone. The Staff are Friendly and Helpful. It is a Lovely place to go to, their is something for everyone ans a Cafe for food and drinks. An advert at the Cafe saying, 1 paying adult for food, means 1 child eats for free. The Car Park and Disabled Parking makes it even easier to enjoy your shopping experience. I / We shall be going back soon as their is so much more to explore.

Really well stocked and in my opinion a better range of stuff than Dunelm. Prices good. Car parking not too busy as the store only shares parking with a couple of other stores.

I buy my wool here regularly. Great selection of crafting materials. The garden centre upstairs is very well stocked. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

I love this supermarket! This is the place where I spend most of my money. But recently a lot of items do not have a price tag. It makes it very difficult to manage my finances. Not just few items with no tags, hundreds of them. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5. I needed some stationary, most of the items had no price on. Very frustrating. Had to keep asking staff, they don't know so had to take stuff to the tills and decide on the spot if it's affordable for me.

Good location with plenty free parking. You can find everything in store - items for kitchen, bathroom, lounge, garden, kids to play with, pets, cars, DIY & even snacks. Price is decent, quality is good too, some cheaper / better than others, overall good. Staff is polite. Wear masks, use hand sanitizer & wipe down after each customer.
