   Golden Linings is a little gem and such a friendly and welcoming place. The owners are absolutely delightful and nothing is too much trouble. It is super clean with a really lovely play area for children with a great outside space too. The coffee is also really good and you can tell that the owners genuinely want their visiting families to have a pleasant experience. I can see why it is a favourite with Mums!

   Has had a lovely refresh since new ownership. A place with actual decent coffee and a children's play space is the ultimate dream for parents. Lots of space for pram parking . There is a step to enter but staff are helpful with getting you in. There is a changing table in the toilet (which is very clean) complete with emergency supplies! The children's lunchbox is also a great deal. Edit 15/8/25 I continually come back to Golden Linings due to the warm welcome from the staff, nothing is too much trouble whether you're there for 10 minutes or 2 hours. I will be sad to be not be here so often once I'm off Maternity Leave!

   Really friendly and welcoming staff! Lovely play areas for children, only issue is it can be a little crowded at times but never had a problem getting a table. Lovely coffee and reasonable food, would be nice to have a little more choice! (Eggs/halloumi to add as toppings maybe??) Overall would visit many times

   Absolute golden gem of a coffee shop, I hope and pray more places like this pop up. Somewhere safe for parents with young kids to go. It’s so hard to take a toddler out and about some days, especially when I really struggle with my mental health. This coffee shop felt so welcoming and safe. A great place to breastfeed too if you have younger children. The coffee is great, and staff are so friendly. An absolutely fantastic cafe. Thank you so much!

   I visited today with a number of my friends and lots of little ones. Despite the place being busy, we were quickly found a table and our food and drinks arrived quickly. The ladies were extremely kind, friendly, welcoming and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, despite the fact that as a large group with lots of little ones, we were causing chaos. The food was delicious and good value. We look forward to returning!

   Wonderful venue that caters to both adults and children alike! As someone that actively despises soft play centres, I wanted somewhere a bit nicer to bring my daughter on a Saturday morning, and Golden Linings absolutely delivers! From the well thought out and curated selection of toys for the kids, to the expertly poured coffee for the grown ups. I really wish there were more places like this!
