We approached Wren Kitchens – Gallagher Showroom, Coventry during their autumn sales to renovate the kitchen in our newly purchased home (Order No: 47455163). Initially, our experience was positive. We were attended by designer Amisha, who took the time to understand our needs. As our kitchen is small, space optimisation was critical, and she designed a layout that met our requirements well. Based on her professionalism and ideas, we felt confident proceeding. Although the showroom manager Mr Bilal was extremely pushy about paying the deposit, we went ahead purely because of our trust in Amisha. Unfortunately, after this point the experience went downhill. Due to a family emergency, Ameesha went on leave, and our case was reassigned. From then on, the customer service was extremely poor — emails and calls went unanswered, and we had to repeatedly chase the showroom. We were forced to threaten cancellation just to get a response and arrange measurements. After measurements, our case was assigned to Abdullah, who appeared inexperienced and lacked confidence. He frequently consulted others while amending the original design. Since customers are only shown 3D visuals, everything looks acceptable on screen, and we signed off trusting that our original requirement — maximum storage and utensil space — had been respected. When installation work started in November, it became clear that the design had serious flaws. Large corner spaces were left unused, existing functional space was reduced, and the overall layout was worse than our original kitchen. He simply added panels to fill areas where much bigger cabinets could have been added. Even the contractor described it as a poor design and urged us to contact the showroom immediately before it was too late to make corrections. My husband and I personally visited the showroom and explained the issue in detail to the receptionist, sharing photos and even arranging a video call with the contractor as she said abdullah was busy. We were told Abdullah would contact us urgently to resolve the matter — but he never did. Since then, we have had no response whatsoever from him or the showroom. Feeling completely let down, we escalated the matter to Wren’s central customer service team. They contacted us and confirmed the issue would be handled by the Gallagher showroom. It has now been over a week, and we are still waiting for any response. This experience has been extremely disheartening. We invested significant money and trusted Wren with a major change to our home, only to lose usable space and be ignored when raising genuine concerns. The after-sales support is extremely poor, and the quality of service seems to depend entirely on which designer you get. If your designer changes midway, as in our case, you may be left in serious difficulty. Based on our experience, this is a showroom to avoid if you value reliable support, accountability, and proper after-sales service.

I've been recently looking at kitchens for one of my new properties so my review will be solely based on my experience at their showroom and not as a customer. My brother had his kitchen from them and recommended Wren, his kitchen and flooring was all sorted by Wren. The staff were very helpful and professional, offered advice and answer to our questions and even offered us something to drink. They have different range of kitchens, bedrooms etc.

Wren Coventry were fantastic! Dal was our designer and he was nothing short of brilliant! He explored so many options with us, reworked our design for us a hundred times, was always responsive and always displayed passion for our project. Nothing was too much for him. I have recommended him to everyone and anyone. I wanted a kitchen that had country feels but was still modern and glam. We wanted an island but Dal helped us explore our options and we went for a design that instead worked for our space, kept the whole area nice and open and gave us great storage solutions. We now have a kitchen that we absolutely love and always has the wow factor when people come over. Thanks Dal for all you did, we would recommend you personally a thousand times over! The only constructive feedback I would give Wren is that their built shaker cupboards should come protected with covers on them which can be pealed off after the build as our units did get dirty during the build. However this doesn’t distract from the great service we have had from Dal! We love our kitchen!

9 FULL MONTHS SINCE THE NIGHTMARE BEGAN!… If I could give a minus star review I would!! Old kitchen taken out end of April/start of May…still not finished and still has to all be taken out again due to errors (3rd time!) and re-fitted…was meant to take 1 week?! Shocking service, shocking communication from all staff and overall shocking considering the whole business is based on being able to fit a kitchen, something which to date they seem unable to do. Escalated to a field installation manager due to time the job was taking and he is beyond poor, absolutely no help - false promises, told one thing and then another, contradictory information between phone calls (if we can get hold of him) and emails and constantly having to chase for a reply. When we do get a response it’s usually along the lines of ‘he’ll check and get back to us by the start of next week’. We request for it to be further escalated due to lack of progress and are just passed between multiple people and eventually back to him again. Disgraceful service and lack of understanding…of course still happy to take payment! Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone in-fact I’d advise nothing but to AVOID. After this experience I’m not sure they could even fit a light bulb never mind a kitchen! Complete shambles and cause nothing but stress and upset not to mention the inconvenience…what should have been an exciting time has been beyond ruined! UPDATE 29th September - You’re asking for me to add order details to my review to supply more personalised response. I have replied to your message request directly with these details and am not going to post the order number/name online. Please check the messages. UPDATE 4th October - details sent via message on 29th September and now no response. Quick to reply when they think the review isn’t genuine, not so quick to reply when proof is sent. No update on here, no further forward in getting the kitchen…yet again proof Wren are incompetent. UPDATE - 7th February - not much to say other than still no more work completed/no further forward. Currently with the ombudsman who also are waiting on Wrens reply…shock. Let’s hope we get a fair outcome to reflect the issues we’ve had/we can get works complete before we reach the 1 year since work began mark…I won’t hold out too much hope…

Absolutely horrendous customer service , I received my kitchen (infinity plus kitchen) on 28th November. My kitchen should of only taken 1 week to install by my fitter . due to the damages of some items we quickly learnt this would not be the case. 2 full units , decor panels, manufacturer errors , design errors the list could go on , after being told by the customer service agents that all they could do was offer an apology I realised this would not be easy to get my kitchen rectified, the replacement orders started , almost every replacement order had more damaged items! Currently on 31st of January and over 5 replacement orders and over 40 items and my kitchen is still not complete. I now have no confidence in my kitchens quality what so ever, if the items can’t be manufactured without damage how will this kitchen last in my home? I would advise to avoid wren kitchens at all costs! The stress , extra costs of fitting and the inconvenience that wren kitchens has caused is beyond a joke. They don’t sell dream kitchens they sell people dreams and they’re not cheap! I don’t believe any paying customer should have to go through this much hassle and stress whilst buying they’re ‘dream kitchen’. The inconvenience of having so many replacement orders arrive week after week. To be offered £50 to compensate for the time. I don’t know many people who earn £50 a day. I have just recieved what was supposed to be my final order from wren kitchens on the 25th of January I was told it would go through extra quality checks this did not happen. Not surprised at all. 5 items were damaged from this delivery this is far from acceptable from the (biggest U.K. kitchen retailer) I don’t know how they’re still in business it feels as if I’ve been robbed avoid this company at all costs . A process What was supposed to be enjoyable has become an absolute living nightmare . Once the showroom has got all they need all that your left with is a customer service line that aren’t much help what so ever and seem to think an apology will fix your kitchen.
