Attended a wake at the pub today and everything was great. Service at bar really good and buffet one of the nicest I've been fortunate to indulge in.
Lovely pub! Had a funeral wake at The Victoria this week and was blown away by the service of the lovely landlords Matt & Helen. Nothing was too much trouble, the spread for 40 people was beautifully presented and enjoyed by everyone, reasonably priced drinks, clean and lovely warm atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this local village pub.
Nice friendly pub with a pool table and darts. Good selection of spirits, cider and beers/lager. Some parking available but if full a few spots opposite.
Great use of the function room for my Niece's christening. Bar Tender (Who I came to learn their name is John/Jon) extremely helpful and efficient. No ask was too much. Certainly made my heart skip a few beats I'll tell you. Definitely worth the visit.
Very friendly place, the landlord Dean was great and made sure everyone was happy. Great service, great pub great landlord. Will definitely will be a returning customer.
Victoria Hotel is a fantastic place to have a good night. First time visiting very friendly staff and publicans. Dean is the most friendly and funny landlord, making sure everyone has a good night. You will not be disappointed. Xxx

A pleasant place to stay, with very friendly and welcoming staff, including the 4-legged security officer on duty. A few minor issues prevent us from giving the full 5 stars, such as what appeared to be a human hair in my breakfast egg and a very dusty mug for my morning coffee (which was desperately needed due to the thin dividing walls between the rooms which meant that we could hear every word uttered by the party animals in the room next to ours until they finally went to bed at about 3:30AM), but these issues can be readily forgiven considering the fair pricing, good atmosphere, free parking and general positive vibe. We'll be happy to stay here again if in the area, and would happily recommend it to others who are willing to forgive a few rough edges.
