   Went out for my birthday meal yesterday. New to area and had been past a couple of times so fancied giving it a try. Food was lovely, especially the chips! Service was also very good, and meal was very reasonably priced. Pub was cozy, clean and welcoming. Will definitely be back x

   Once again the Fox & Hounds showed why it is the best & most welcoming family pub In Charnwood. They looked after 3 generations in our large group with their hospitality, good humour & generous portions of their tasty food. Sophie & her team did a great job.Thank you. Thoroughly recommended.

   We went for a lunch there today, Saturday for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised at the layout and friendliness of the place and the lovely atmosphere created from the decor and areas of seating in alcoves around the restaurant. Then the food we had was wonderful, a local soup followed by a splendid cheese and meats board with lovely fresh bread followed by a Beef goulash which was divine and then what tasted like home made mince pies. Try their hot toddies and other beverages which were lovely. A great experience at a reasonable price. We will be going again.
