The culture here is sort of mean. 5 of us come in a Sunday evening and its empty, zero customer. 4 want to order beers and 1 a coffee as she's just finished work. They ran out of coffee. I ask can she grab a mcdonalds takeout and drink it with us before she orders a drink? No, you can't she has to sit outside by herself. So weird when you have zero customers and we were friendly to you. Went to Tonne instead where they were normal and understood basic human interaction

We frequent this amazing bar often for work and definitely for pleasure. The food is truly great and served till late. We do maintenance work for this independent venue and can honestly say the owners just want to offer a safe fully inclusive destination for Leicester and we are proud to work with them.

We hosted a suprise party for my Dad here on Saturday in the upstairs venue and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! The venue itself was beautifully lit which made for a lovely atmosphere, perfect size and every single one of our guests were raving about how brilliant it was. The sound system was amazing and connected easily and seamlessly and sounded brilliant throughout the night. The staff were incredibly friendly and so accommodating for anything we needed - from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The booking process was simple and easy - thankyou Kat for sorting everything for us! The private bar was also a great asset to the use of the venue and again the staff were great. Shout out to the bouncer on the door also who kept our party private! All in all cannot praise the venue and staff enough and we will definitely be back for parties in the future! β€οΈ

What to say about this place. Good points first: It's a large pub spread over 2 floors with a bar, pool table, good selection of retro games machines and a dance floor upstairs with a DJ, it has a large fairly decent outside smoking area with cover, a few consoles set-up downstairs to use, didn't try any but they have a large selection of drinks on draught, they have cobs at night for sale and it's open until 4am every night. Bad Points: There are many, staff don't seem to clean up after themselves with rubbish over the back bars and all over the floors, staff have no personality and seem to serve friends first, door staff are very rude and last week they kicked a guy out who then decided to try to hammer the front door and try to break through a window and all they did (3 door staff), was barricade the front door and lastly, this claims to be a rock bar but they played drum & bass Mmm... enough said!I and lastly can't believe how many customers here do coke, its unreal, we saw that many people actually doing coke or selling it it seems natural here.

Me and my friend had an amazing time at this hangout, feeling welcomed from the large entrance and the lovely area upon entry. We went clubbing upstairs to absolutely banging tunes, lights flashing different colours and many nice people with us!

I flew from California to join my Belgium mate at Morningside Arena for the dart tournament. The guy in the middle, Matt, suggested we should continue the party at Firebug. I must say, we had a great time at your club. Great cocktails and great atmosphere. Cheers!

I've done my fair share of drinking in Firebug over the years but popped in for a nice pint of Staropramen while my son was at an Escape room. Wasn't too busy and the chap behind the bar was friendly. There was a previous review that said the toilets were terrible, so I purposely took a pic of the gents to show it's fine (I can't comment on the ladies toilet). I mean, I wouldn't eat my dinner in there, but I wouldn't eat my dinner in my own toilet either.

Quiet place at 15:00 on a Friday but that meant we were served quickly. Service was very good and drinks were served at the table. You can see in the photos that the gents are not a very nice place to have to use. Looked like they had not really given it much thought. The sinks look particularly grotty. Food was delicious and so was the wheat beer I had. So definitely a place I will return but will hope they read this and hope they have redecorated the loos by the time I do!

Nice pub in Leicester city centre. Has a wide selection of beers, cocktails and mocktails. Also has small food menu. Has many seats in differents styles, even a sofa section with a fully functional GameCube connected to TV. Medium price. Ideal to go with friends. Opens until very late. Had s little garden behind for smokers. There is a another space upstairs for parties, concerts and clubbing. Located in the historic gas offices from Leicester.
