   We decided to give the Copt Oak a try now it’s under new management, and I can honestly say we were really impressed. We felt comfortable and happy — the atmosphere was great! We even met the new landlady, who was so welcoming and friendly. She took the time to come over and check that we were okay and if we needed anything, which really stood out. The place is spotless and looks amazing overall. ❤️ About time it had someone who genuinely cares!

   Visited the Copt Oak in Leicester recently and overall had a decent experience. Parking: One of the highlights of this location is the ample and convenient parking. It was easy to find a spot, even during peak hours, which made the visit stress-free right from arrival. Facilities: While the pub was generally well-organized, the washrooms were a letdown. I’d give them 3 stars – they were functional but not as clean as expected, especially considering the otherwise decent standards of the place. Improved cleanliness and more regular maintenance would make a big difference here. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was lively, particularly because I visited right after England’s win in the Euros match. There was a great buzz, and people seemed in good spirits – it definitely added some energy to the visit. Overall: A good spot with strong basics like parking and a decent store environment, but the hygiene standards in the washrooms need attention. With some improvement in that area, it could be a much better experience overall.

   We have been four times in the last five weeks. Going again today and invited friends to join us too. The food my husband and I have had has been amazing! The chef cooks the steaks to perfection! We have a different meal every time and the food we’ve received is delicious. Thank you!

   It was a really nice place with a great atmosphere and lovely decor. The staff were kind and helpfull. The food was delicious but I did feel incredibly sick after eating and spent a solid 20 minutes in the toilet about throwing up. I don't know if this was in direct correlation with the food but it was honestly a scran none the less. Despite my ill health I would recommend this place and eat there again.

   We popped in for a Sunday dinner and were so pleased to get a table. The place was busy but it was a really nice 'bustling' atmosphere, we didnt feel rushed, just had a lovely relaxing sunday dinner. Even with the busy atmosphere the staff were friendly and seemed chilled, not stressed and happy to help people's tables as they were passing. We had the mixed roast- really good, all tasted freshly cooked and hot! We were served by Chris and Loretta and they were lovely- I would definitely be back and recommend The Copt Oak.

   Went in and saw that they were only doing bar type food, more of a local than a place to eat out, so we left without ordering anything. Having read the reaction to my review I feel that I should add that nobody seemed at all interested in serving us, so the comment about being hardworking just didn't apply on the night we attended, did look like a good local that I would have loved when younger, so I have upgraded my review as it was not your fault that you were not what we were looking for.

   Great place to eat, good atmosphere and great food. I had the mighty burger and it was fresh and suculant. All our party's food was of great quality, and they catered for gluten free.
