   I am just giving a formal review of the new Cafe near tesco in st mellons. I work in a busy greggs in the city centre. While the atmosphere was friendly and the food was good, there are various areas which need improving. 1) Speed of service has to be the main problem I faced, and while the Cafe was not busy, the person who took the order seemed a bit low energy when preparing my order. 2) Communication. I waited 5 minutes behind someone and wasnt reassured that I would be served soon. If I am in a rush this would have made me leave. When I requested a plain cheese toastie, I was served salad with it but was not asked if I wanted salad. Asking customers to eat in or take out is also a good idea, since I would have prefered to take out. 3) Interior could use some work. Walls painted and better chairs specifically. 4) a little overpriced, I read that a cheese toastie was 3 pounds and with a can of pepsi my order totalled to 6 pounds but I was not sure why. I hope the manager sees this brief feedback and contines to improve the buisness. The location is great so I would expect it to pick up during busy times.

   20 April 2023 This is my favourite cafe for dining in and takeaway. The food is always really delicious and good value. The staff are friendly and helpful. I also ordered a delivery and it came on time nice and hot. All round amazing cafe defo recommend anyone to visit .

   Have not been to this Cafe for a while visited on Sat 18th March instead of going to our usual Ford's in Llanrumney which is always excellent not impressed Hash Brown's Raw & Cold Black Pudding End served could not eat it toast cold coffee went back as virtually black would not go back stay away

   Girl behind counter doesn't seem to know what she's doing. Part of order missing. Lots of coughing into hands and nose wiping with fingers. Won't be returning

   I'm horrified to see how under rated Frolics is on Google Reviews!!! There is not a better cafe in St Mellons. I've ordered from here regularly during the pandemic, and I've never been able to find fault. Food is great, staff are friendly, and all around just an A* service! Make sure to try the Hunters Chicken Strips! Thanks Frolics for making every lunchtime a good one!
