   The food isn’t actually bad, it’s anything you would expect, nothing more nothing less. The service however it’s just horrible, I get that it’s not a Michelin restaurant but the staff it’s just rude without apparent reason. Apparently 10am it’s too early to order fish and chips according to the lady that took our order. Every time we came the staff makes us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome.

   Level of service is appalling. Wouldn't waste your time traveling here. Only serving sandwiches 3 mornings in a row. They dont offer anything other than fried egg or a sandwich. Pointless in the cafe being open.

   Really nice food great service but one of the staff members were clueless on how to fix the coffee machine I work with a similar machine in my old job but was told I couldn’t fix they had to so had to wait 5 mins and all that was wrong was they needed coffe beans and empty the bottom but I will return and maybe new so I will not mark down to many marks

   There’s plenty of room here, biggest Morrisons cafe I have visited! There’s a touch screen computer just on the outside of the cafe but I was told it’s been switched off and they are only doing limited options so the breakfast I wanted I couldn’t have. Then another customer told me it’s like this every week.. just limited options. Which is a shame. I had poached Eggs with avocado on toast which was ok. No mushrooms or hash browns.. a little disappointed but never mind! £6.14 for that and a latte

   Not the best welcome walking into the cafe in morrisons on Newport Road in Cardiff, was approached by a member of staff that didn't say hello, first words were I cant order from the touch screen self order machine because there were to many orders coming through, I counted 5 people in the restaurant and they had all been served. No scrambled egg no black pudding no porridge and no teacakes at 08:30 in the morning, we had to find a clean table because the majority of them were filthy, breakfast turned up within 90 seconds of sitting down, slapped on the plate cold and watery. No passion or pride in these 2 women serving food. Awful service and awful food. For the same price we could have gone to The Harvester and had unlimited breakfast which I wish we had done now. I will be escalating this to management. We will never return to this hole.

   Both coffee machines not working, ordered breakfast on line after a 3/4 of an hour wait I politely enquired at the till to make sure my order was in and was abruptly spoken over saying the meals were taking 3/4 of an hour and I would have to wait there was no apology for the delay appalling customer service. The restaurant was only third full. So the wait was suprising ,It arived 10 mins later it was served In a surly manner again with no apology for the wait Then we discovered that 3 portions of beans were missing. This time my son approached the same lady on the till and experienced the same surly manner as I had earlier. This review has 2 stars because the food was cooked well, a pity about the rest of the experience.
