My Sunday lunch order was missed somehow it didn’t go through to the kitchen correctly from the servers device, so there was a delay being served. The meal was presented well but the vegetables were lukewarm at most, the meat tasted okay though. Not as enjoyable as I’d have hoped, if it had been warm it would have been perfectly acceptable. I didn’t complain because I’d already waited quite a while and couldn’t face the hassle of sending the food back and waiting longer.

We had such a great time at Cardiff Brewhouse & Kitchen! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming β€” the kind of place that instantly makes you feel comfortable. The food was really tasty and nicely presented, and you could tell a lot of care went into each dish. The range of craft beers was impressive too, and it was fun to try a few different beers. What really made the visit special was our host, Tom Jones. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and the beers. On top of that, he took the time to recommend some brilliant local spots and attractions for us to check out during our stay, which made our trip to Cardiff even better. Overall, it was a fantastic experience β€” great food, great drinks, and even better service. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

First of all came in and it was very friendly service. Ordered boneless chicken strips and when it’s came out it was the bone chicken wings. I went up to the waiter to say about this and he sighted not very nice about it even though it was their mistake. When the boneless chicken strips finally arrived they were dripping with water and falling apart. Overall terrible food and service won’t come again.

We hired a space here for my 30th birthday and it was perfect! We had exclusive use of the canope area and were able to decorate the space and play our own playlist, which made the event feel really personal and fun. The staff were absolutely lovely and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was great, and the beer/cocktails kept everyone happy. Highly recommend this venue for anyone thinking of hiring a space for a party or event (plus the doggos can join in). A special mention to Zechariah who helped the vision materialise by meeting with me beforehand and corresponding to my 100 emails and questions. Super star!

Had a great time here. My wife had bought us a beer tasting masterclass. OMG, brilliant. Although there should have been us plus 4 others we were told, the 4 didn't turn up, they missed an amazing 2 hours. Our host was a young guy called Seb, he was absolutely great. Not know what to expect, he went through the plan and explained the beers, what they make on site, what they bring in, how the beers are made, history and you are brought 8 thirds to try in order. Time to discuss each one, the colour, the taste, the origin. He was very knowledgeable and really made a great experience, would recommend this masterclass.

We came there for lunch. Beautiful environment. About food, we ordered 3 small plates and 1/4 chicken set plus drinks. They were all delicious. Couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend.

Great food and lovely brewery. Excellent selection of beers and ciders. I particularly appreciated the nonalcoholic (0.5%) beers on tap. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, with lots of sitting space.

Easy to find, lots of parking, standard pub food experience. It has a fantastic location inside of Sophia gardens, surrounded by lovely walks and sports facilities, and also has plenty of parking. The pub has plenty of outdoor seating both covered and uncovered, as well as a lovely conservatory alongside the original pub. Beers brewed in-house, interesting deco, easy to order via the app.

There are a lot of positives for the Brewhouse and Kitchen. It has a fantastic location in Sophia Gardens, surrounded by lovely walks and sports facilities and has good parking. The pub has plenty of outdoor seating, covered and uncovered, as well as a lovely conservatory alongside the original pub. The beers brewed in-house are great, we tried the pilsner and lager. The food was a bit of a mixed bag, good Sunday dinner but a disappointing burger and extremely watery cauliflower cheese. Staff were excellent, interesting deco, and app ordering nice and easy. Look forward to returning.
