Lovely pub the lounge has just been redone to a lovely standard. Can be a little intimidating in there at times with some patrons
Just stopped by for a quick pint. Lovely traditional pub. Always a good atmosphere, great beer garden. Selection of beers isn't the best but what they do have is well looked after.
We went here after the Wales beat Finland in the Euro qualifier. We were walking by and saw a good amount of fans celebrating so we stopped by for a pint. I got a Thatcher’s Haze Somerset Cider from they had on tap which was really good. It was a nice spot with a good atmosphere!
Pretty basic pub in the heart of Canton. The afternoon we called in for a drink. The pub was busy and noisy, which was a good sign. But the bar staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. I'm not used to hearing bar staff using such foul language, especially female staff, which is very unprofessional. The pub seems to be full of gamblers only interested in watching horse racing on all televisions. If this is your interest, then you may want to use the pub. My friends and I won't be visiting again.
Brilliant local pub. Great atmosphere & sooo friendly Bar staff lovely & prices good. A must for a really good night or afternoon out.
