   Typical with Wetherpoons big that once was theater plenty of room to sit and enjoy a hour or two with cheaper drinks good variety of beers, ales from. Green king and Carlsberg and if feel Hungry there is plenty of food choices from the menu order at bar or on the wetherspoons app easy to find on top of Westgate street near the principality stadium so the Gatekeeper can be very busy on Rugby international and Wales football matches and concert at the principality stadium

   So one of my many nights here. Has to be said customers having to clean table to sit at. Myself opening the menus for food .. all covered in sticky booze and sauce. Put me off straight away. Amazing what rotating staff can create. Not what one wants from a food and drink pub, front of house staff lack pace tonight and manners. Polar opposite to a previous evenings

   Shocking spoons tbh. I know it was a day early Eve but half hour to get table service for our drinks, also the tables crammed to bursting with empties and dirty plates, not just our table, I have never seen anything like it in my life, after 2 drinks we left and past the area where the empties go back for washing, there was glasses and plates stacked everywhere and all over the floor, shocking, then to make matters that little bit worse, walked past the what I think was the kitchen door, the where trollies with so many plates stacked filthy dirty and also on the floor, I’m Suprised they had anything left to serve the public. We did not eat because the state of the tables to start with, glad we didn’t looking at what we saw when we left.

   Lovely place to go and watch rugby games on TV in the middle of Cardiff. Good reverend James beer. Comfy seats. Quick service at the bar. Picture is of the castle nearby.

   This was a great pub to go for a drink at, with a vibrant design contributed by the likes of the stairs and bar! The Welsh flag is a top addition, the staff were friendly and menus are available at tables. I sat comfortably for a refreshing drink of Black Grape Vodka, although it had not been mixed properly as I could taste vodka too strong at the bottom.

   A good wetherspoons, food is decent, large choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic drink. The staff are really friendly and the pub has a nice atmosphere. Ground level access and it has a lift in the building. Lots of seating.

   “We were all of us cogs in a great machine which sometimes rolled forward, nobody knew where, sometimes backwards, nobody knew why.” - Ernst Toller Cheap booze, inexpensive value for food and the comfort of having different classes of customers surround you but mainly just one type. You have to give a huge shout out for their understaffed workers here, it gets busy but they are definitely keeping the place running.

   A decent Wetherspoon this one! Great staff, friendly and efficient service. Usual ‘spoons fare, great food and drink at great prices. The pub is always clean and tidy. Prefer this one over the more central Cardiff spoons, which are much busier. Lots of seating areas set over three levels and two large bars, one on the ground floor and another on the second floor. Huge range on beers and ales on draught. Great range. Recommended

   The best one, as usual. Great food, fair prices and enormous beer brands. Regrading food, hamburger and potatoes are served with absolutely no salt and pepper. Thus, you can make it/prepare/adapt by your own after served with catchup, pepper, etc. Everywhere I go, this is the place I look for having lunch, and dinner.
