Charming little inn , had a great night being entertained by the singer Lisa Marie as 'Adele '. Met some lovely locals and felt very welcomed and we sang and danced the night away . Will definitely be back to the Railway Inn , especially if Lisa Marie is singing!

Great night at the railway. The new management are really turning the place around. Lovely food, live reggae in the beer garden, great atmosphere. What more could you ask for? Will be back.

The pub appears to have changed hands. Prices are more affordable now than before, but the food quality is now less. The fries and chicken burger filling were enjoyable. The bun was fine. I wouldn't bring foodie friends here, but good place for people who are on a budget. Seemed to be a lot of people watching sport in both areas of the pub. I personally prefer pubs where there is a section without screens for people eating. Dogs are welcome, but would have been too busy for my dog to feel comfortable. The decking area is lovely place for a couple of drinks in the warm / hot weather.

Really nice hot roast and beautiful fish and chips for my daughter :-) My only qualm was the paying at the end of it as I had to remember what we had She told me she would ring it through the till as it hadn’t been recorded previously which seemed odd But.. it was still delicious x

The only decent pub in the area. Nice atmosphere, big beer garden, friendly staff and great food. Would be more than happy if this was my local

Visited the 17th Dec. I was told I could not go in the Lounge. I found a table in the Bar and ordered a drink. Then before finishing my drink told I had to vacate the table. There was no reserved sign on the table. This represents horrendous customer service. It was a bit of a tatty pub, so I don't know why they feel they are so special.

The food here is absolutely delicious! It's not quick service but very well worth waiting for as everything is perfectly cooked and full of flavour. So far we've had the steak sandwich, 2 different burgers and 2 specials of the week (one prawn linguini, one fish), all were fantastic. The desserts are great too - if you have a big appetite try the waffles! The barman is really friendly and dogs are made very welcome too - well worth a visit if you've been to Hailey Park or Forest Farm!

I had a lovely meal here on Sunday! The owners are wonderfully friendly - and there are separate places for dogs to come in too! Will definitely recommend. Also, reasonably priced food and drinks!
