What a hidden gem! The staff are always warm and welcoming, a nice warm cosy atmosphere. The food is Amazing!! Amazing Homemade food. Always delicious and good portions. A hidden Gem!
Such a great pub! All the staff are always so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond on our most recent for an Engagement Party. The food was amazing! DJ played requests etc. Would definitely recommend!
A quiet Tuesday when I popped in. A nice few pints and an excellent meal. Well worth a visit if you want quality pub grub. Thanks.

Very nice little pub. Food was amazing my hunters chicken was cooked to perfection, very soft and with plenty of bacon and cheese on the top. Onion rings- one of the best we've ever had. Peppercorn sauce - first one I've ever liked in my life. Atmosphere is very cosy, with nice music on the background with just right amount of volume. Staff are very friendly and professional. Although I am personally very picky, my experience was a 5* all over
Wonderful Sunday lunch. Plenty of veg and ably 10.95. The beef was tender and flavourful. Service was wonderful.

Pleasant staff. Ordered food wasnt told there was a wait and we had a good 40mins wait with the kids not ideal. The food was good thou.
Well it’s with great sadness I write this. I have had Sunday dinner over here before in small group and it’s great food. We were a group of 10. 1 child and high chair. That shouldn’t be a problem but it’s Christmas. Sat down ordered our meal. The meals came out with some having wrong meats and one with cold meat. That was sent back. That took a while to return. Asked for more veg. This took ages to get to table. Well that’s when they the young servers started spilling the gravy down peoples coats. The gravy boat too full. He just couldn’t see the gravy pooping out the front. Well we eventually settled down and had nice food. Which is not my complaint. Well we waited to be asked what we wanted for desert eventually going to bar to ask if we could order this. Well it was ages bring to table in small or two plates at a time. We asked ice cream no sprinkles no chocolate just plain ice cream. You guessed it. Ice cream white sauce and sprinkles on. When the last two eventually got their desert and eating they asked to settle the bill and vacate the table as we had been over two hours and they had another sitting wanting to use table. Your having a laugh. We will vacate when we have finished. It’s not our problem service was so slow and confused. Would advise longer time on tables for larger parties of faster service I must say we had a discount on the drinks which was welcomed and I would return as food is generally good value but return in smaller party. Sorry to write this I’m a local and will return but needed to do this as it took the shine off a family’s Christmas get together.
Another great night, went to see Rocking Dave Riley, who is always fantastic and doesn't have a break like most other acts. Friendly atmosphere and staff and regulars made us feel welcome
