The highfields is my local pub Very friendly & lovely staff are friendly helpful & polite, down to earth. Always up for a chat and a laugh. The landlord and the landlady are happy and friendly. I love this pub cos it’s a save space to hang around with friends. There’s pool darts and skittles. Pop down you won’t be disappointed
The atmosphere was good as we had a section of the bar rented out to have an party for my wife's grandmother's funeral. Could have done with another staff member but all in all it was a good night and they were very hospitable. Would recommend to rent it out as it was quite quiet during our experience.
I always drink in this pub for 20 years, drink on my own, talk to regulars, love my music, that's why I love this pub. Until the Management went on 4 weeks holiday and the relief staff came in and attitude changed. They were more concerned of taking over the pub and creating another business???. To my surprised that they banned me without any reason at all. Thanks God the Management came back, and they let me back in. I always love this Management. I 100% recommend this pub.
I've never really used this pub much except for the last year. The staff and management are so very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The lounge has been redecorated for parties and events. My second New year's Eve celebrating there and it didn't disappoint. Lovely food and amazing atmosphere. I've yet to try Sunday bingo and karaoke but hopefully sometime soon. Wishing Linda and Gwyn a Happy New Year! May you have great success in the different events you throw. One last thing..... the pitchers of cocktails £13 an absolute bargain. Pop in and try one!
I have been going to the Highfields for many years, it has an amazing community atmosphere and the people are very friendly. The staff and management are lovely and very welcoming, always ready to have a chat and some laughs. The customer service is excellent. The pub has a large bar, a skittle alley which also has a dart board and a pool table, these are always popular. The lounge has recently been decorated and already hosted some great parties. Highly recommend this pub 10 out of 10!

With our celebration for St David's day we had great service and a friendly atmosphere, worth stopping by for a pint or two.
The landlord rarely smile's but he's actually really nice. The customers look like the type of ppl you want to avoid but there more friendly than anyone you'll meet. Great place 5* ,well worth a visit..
