I was quite nervous before my first appointment with Tayba, as I have gum disease and have struggled to keep on top of my oral health. I’d previously left other dental practices after feeling judged, but from the moment I met Tayba, I felt completely at ease. She is kind, genuine, and straightforward, creating a real sense of teamwork so I never feel like I’m facing this alone. Tayba always takes my anxiety into account, particularly as I find the dental tools difficult to cope with. She even suggested practical ideas, such as using headphones to make the experience more comfortable. We’re now making great progress, and Tayba’s encouragement has made such a difference. She truly cares about her patients and wants the best for them. I feel supported, understood, and confident that we’re on this journey together toward healthier gums.
I visited Alexander Price because I had lost a bridge and a crown. I found Alex to be kind and respectful and very caring. We went through all possibilities and he suggested two teeth on one implant. As of this morning I have completed all my treatment. I have had no pain nor any discomfort. I would recommend Alex to anyone who needs this treatment or is fearful of visiting a dentist.
I have been a patient at this Practice for many years and never need treatment as my teeth are very healthy. The only thing I need is regular cleaning and so I visit the hygienist in between check ups. The only problem I find is that they don't want to give me the clean and polish that I am entitled to under my check up fee and always try to insist I go to the hygienist instead. As someone who takes great care to clean, floss and use interdental brushes daily, I find this quite difficult to deal with as it adds more expense to my visit and just feels like upselling. The reason for this review is that at my check up today the same thing happened. I stuck to my guns and said I would like the clean and polish I was entitled to and would visit the hygienist on my next visit. The dentist then told me I was in danger of my teeth dropping out! At the end of the visit I felt I needed to speak up and said that by using phrases like your teeth could drop out could really frighten someone. She had told me during the check up that my teeth were really good so I said they are clearly not going to drop out especially with the great care I take and regular visits to the dentist. She said she had to say that to cover herself and the dental nurse joined in too saying the same thing. I was just trying to give her feedback to choose her words more carefully as hearing something like that could really worry some people. The receptionist was lovely on the way out and asked if I was ok. Like a previous reviewer I don't feel I can raise the issue with the Practice as have heard others saying that they just become defensive. I think I need to look for a new dentist for me and my family.
First of all, I am what is known as a nervous patient.... BUT, and it's a very important BUT, I have just completed an implant procedure and I have to give top marks/full props to Dr Alex who saw it through from extraction to today's shiny new tooth. Every part was explained and PAINLESS and he and his team are so friendly and kind and understanding. Classic FM in the background (my request) and excellent after care. Have a chat at least and find out about it.... honest, it's worth it.
Took my children for their first dental check up, the staff were very friendly, professional and made us all feel at ease! Highly recommend
Best dental practice I have ever visited. They treat patients really well. They know what they do and they take care of the patients really well. I dint find any issues getting appointment. The staff members were able to guide me through and answer all questions I had with regards to my dental treatment. Its pricey. But I would highly recommend for anyone who wants a good treatment.
Very friendly and calm, reassured the 9 year old very well he wasn’t nervous at all. Lovely reception area and very polite receptionist. New dentist Alex was superb.

Tried to get an urgent appointment this morning but as I have not attended since 2018 (due to the fact I have the chronic illness Myasthenia Gravis, with facial weakness and pain so keeping my mouth open for an extended period of time is extremely painful and remains so for days afterwards - so obviously would not put myself through an appointment with nothing wrong with my teeth) - so I have been removed from NHS patient list. So cannot get an NHS appointment but they CAN charge me over £80 for an appointment today and then £400 for a filling. So if you want a customer-focused, caring practice - this one is not for you. The receptionist was keen to tell me all about how NHS funding is being cut though! All about money.
