   ** AVOID ** Its a CON ! . purchased a voucher of groupon for a service. Booked in via groupon , made the 30 mile round trip , only to be met with a closed up run down garage. Trying to get money back off groupon is such hard work!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

   I had a mixed experience with Mario’s workshop. While the work itself was completed, I encountered several issues that left me disappointed. The diagnostic check was priced at £120, which is significantly higher than the usual rate of £45–£50. I also paid £130 for a starter motor installation, a part that typically costs between £50–£75 in most places. After the service, I noticed that some features in my car were no longer working. When I tried to raise these concerns, the response I received was dismissive and uncooperative. I strongly advise others to be cautious and consider alternative workshops before dealing with them.

   I have been trying to contact this garage since March for a short email to enable me to get a refund for a groupon voucher that I bought twice in error due to a technical problem the day of my MOT. I have called, emailed and completed an online contact form. I have been ignored. They also failed to check my liquid levels which was part of the mot deal. My water was under minimum. I was relying on them checking my liquids I spotted this on accident when looking for something else in the bonnet a few days later. I had a feeling it hadn’t been done when I picked up the car but the man said yes so I believed him. I used to use this as my local garage but have since had to go elsewhere because they have completely ignored me and groupon won’t refund me unless they take two minutes of there time to send me an email. With an apology I will remove my review but until then the garage is tardy and unprofessional. I used to use them they are local to me, but won’t any more. You get what you pay for. The groupon deal gives you half a service and permanent ignorance thereafter.

   Paid for a service through Groupon and was very impressed with them. Had to pay an extra £25 for synthetic oil but was told that before I went. Mario was a lovely chap and friendly. I'll definitely use them again. They gave my car a good check over and I'd recommend them. Thank you.

   Used the Groupon deal. Good service however no report detailing what was carried out on the car. Was told they don't do that but how are you to know what checks have been done. Was just told car was fine. Paid additional 20.00 for oil but that was detailed in the voucher so expected that. Overall 4 stars due to efficiently and service but wouldn't use them again purely for the no log of service or checks done on car.
