   Visited ACE this week for help with an issue I was having with my car key. My dealer wanted just under £200 to look at it, this was only to investigate the issue. The repair would have been an added charge again. ACE sorted the problem in less than 20 minutes and for a fraction of the price and I mean a tiny fraction. They were super friendly and really helpful throughout. I’ll definitely be taking my car there for my next MOT. My dealer has lost my business. Honda driver.

   Was recommended by a local friend after a car emergency while visiting. Called in and they offered a quick look over and found the problem. Got the car booked in in short order and pleased with the result. So much so, I've taken both cars there since for their MOTs. Excellent service, fair prices and friendly staff who take time to discuss options and any queries you have. Couldn't recommend enough!

   Appalling verbal attack by the owner. I have been going to this garage for many years on the recommendation of Andy Mitchell of Mitchell motors. When Andy retired he recomnended ACE motors to take over the service & MOT. I have been going thrre over 10 years. The staff have always being very friendly and a very professional service. This time the atmosphere was totally different Yest I arrived at 9am having booked my car in for a service & MOT weeks ago. I left the car & went shopping and waited for a call. At 12md I received a call to say the car had passed MOT and they were just doing the oil change and the car would be ready at 1pm I want back at 1pm and the mechanic was stood by the car at the entrance adjacent to the waiting room. I asked if the car was ready and he said they had ordered the wrong filter and were waiting for the correct one. I asked how long it would take. He said it shouldn't be long. I turned and went to go in the waiting room when this man came out and started shouting at me saying that there wasn't a time they would do it by and I would have to wait. I was going to wait anyway. I had no ehere to go. There was no need for his aggression or verbal assault for no reason I was phoned by the garage, I didn't contact them and I was told my car was ready. The fact that they had ordered the wrong filter was not my problem. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the owner. He also said they were short staffed that week and had a lot booked in. Again that's not my problem I have been going there for years and also introduced my family to the garage. I have never encountered such anger or hostility which was totally unprovoked He obviously realised he had overstepped the mark when he asked me if I'd like a cup of tea. I said no thank you, squash- no, water - no. I would just like my car and & leave. I will not be returning and neither will my family. He is doing a good job of loosing customers

   This garage is one of the most truthworthy and helpful garages I’ve ever been too! I called them last minute in the Christmas period and asked them to fix both of my car doors and slot me in for an MOT after being told no by loads of other garages. They fit me in the same day and managed to fix my car and complete my MOT within a few hours. They were so helpful and so lovely, they explained everything to me and the price was super reasonable. All the guys there were so polite and welcoming. Highly recommend!
