I honestly can’t recommend Bec highly enough. My nails are absolutely gorgeous every time, they last so well. Bec is an absolute pleasure, so accommodating and so friendly. The salon is gorgeous too!
UNTRUSTWORTHY DO NOT RECOMMEND. I’m not one to leave a negative review but after my experience I left the salon so upset crying. I would leave 0 stars if I could. I showed up to my appointment 10 mins early to an empty salon whilst Rebecca remained on her phone. I was aware before my appointment that Bec doesn’t remove/infill others work. I therefore spent £23 on at-home removal equipment to attempt removing them myself. I am not a nail technician so I tried my best to remove them as best as I could to attend my appointment, which I was looking forward to. I thought out of kindness my appointment would still go ahead as I use the same products (The Gel Bottle) however that was not the case. The nail tech Rebecca was really unbothered and unfriendly, refusing to go ahead with the booking as they weren’t properly removed. I booked via the Booksy app, where I had to put in my card details to secure the appointment, with a £32 cancellation fee. I did not cancel and I attended my appointment early. So I was even more upset after travelling an extra 40 mins back home to receive an email that it has been cancelled and my cancellation fee will be charged. I rang the store, however was getting no response for awhile. After finally getting hold of the salon, I spoke with Rebecca who was refusing to refund my £32, despite me having turned up for my appointment and it was her own decision not to go ahead with it. Rebecca then said that I have wasted her time, which is completely unfair, as it was my time that was wasted. I have contacted both my bank and booksy who have both agreed that they shouldn’t have charged the £32 cancellation fee as I turned up. This is currently being sorted by Booksy which I am very grateful for, as the salon have been no help and told me not to call them again. The salon looks stylish and luxury inside, however the customer service is so unprofessional and non-existent. No client should leave a business crying and feeling this way, and feeling robbed. Very disappointed and not experienced anything like it. To add, I informed the salon owner Lauren that I will be leaving a review about my experience.They then marked me down as a “no show” so that I would be unable to leave this review on Booksy. I have contacted Booksy again who are doing their best at looking into this.
