Today I went to tesco Rugby Superstore. They have recently introduced coins for taking trolleys. Now they sell trolley tokens for £1.5. Unfortunately I didn't have a coin and I had forgotten my wallet at home. So I picked an item for £4 and went to the customer care and asked them to bill it and give me £1 cashback. They refused and asked me to buy the token fir £1.5. I went directly to ASDA and did the shopping there. I don't think I will be shopping at Tesco anytime soon.

Don’t buy SIM card in this store. I bought a SIM card which is expired and non refundable. Although it is just 99p, but this makes me uncomfortable. I checked with Sainsbury, all their SIM cards have a sticker stating the expired date. Tesco doesn’t have any. I have been told to go to EE for extra help. The nearest EE store is in conventry. This is very unhelpful and unsupportive advice. Tesco has the responsibility to check and guarantee the quality and validity of products selling in their store. Apparently, they didn’t do the right thing and put the risk to customers.

I believe the photos are self explanatory however i will give context. The first image was taken whilst i came in late at night for some shopping one of the lovely workers offered to get me some bananas from the drawers, upon opening the drawer he had found a cockroach in the draw, we were both dumbfounded. The 2nd image was found the same night and just seconds after, the worker explained to me the filthy conditions of his workplace. The last 2 images contain rat droppings that were on fresh product taken from out the back by the same worker mentioned previously This was my first time shopping at this store in as i typically shop at asda however decided to shop at tesco for no means other than sheer convenience however after this… i would rather take the extra time to travel to a different supermarket. Absolutely disgusted -LJ

This Tesco is getting worse month by month. Shelves are often empty, especially in fresh fruit and vegetables, and many popular everyday items are simply missing. The queues are getting longer and longer, with not enough staff at the tills. Even at the self-checkout machines, you now have to wait in a long line. With this kind of approach to customers, I doubt Tesco Rugby on Leicester Road will last much longer.

Yesterday on 30/07/25 around 20:30 was coming home in coton park.By the Snelldale roundabout where at the evening most of the cars park in the right side of the road, this “lovely lady” seen that I was coming , approaching the roundabout and even her lane was blocked with the cars and even noticing I was coming, she still decided to jump in front in the opposite driveway and start to show me to drive back. Sorry love, you’re not and emergency services, and if you’re seeing the car it’s coming and your way it’s blocked with parked cars, be professional and wait, prove that you know how to drive , not just jump in front and make a drama later cos you don’t know how to drive in reverse. I m sorry I was shouting but you drive me crazy with your incompetence and arrogance. So probably your management should look into selecting their staff more carefully.

consumer rights are violated in the store. on the shelf, the product price is displayed as 0.70 but at the checkout they try to make you pay 1.55. When you try to argue about the price on display, they make you wait 15 minutes to tell you that the price is for a different product. instead of apologizing and selling it at the price on shelf... but if someone is not from Europe, it's normal for them ...

This is a nice tesco, easy to get to when you travel along the canal. I really like the clothes part too. I got some bargain bits in the sale, 1 top i didnt even know it was half price. Love it when that happens. Have enjoyed my visits so far.

Convenient location. Like most supermarkets prices fluctuate. Prices can be misleading due to items placed on wrong shelves. Pleasant staff and mostly helpful staff

Nothing to complain about the shopping experience. Their usual security is always approachable and professional. Today I witnessed a nice gesture towards a customer. As she was leaving the store with hands full of products, he stopped her and offered her a bag. This is the extra mile for exceptional customer service.
