The Kiosks Were Friendlier Followed up after a job interview and got treated like I was disturbing royalty. Honestly, the self-checkout kiosks have more professionalism and emotional range than the two staff members I dealt with. One with the “shift manager” badge might want to shift her attitude instead. The other guy came back with petty, schoolgirl-style comebacks like it was some playground spat. Not exactly the warm, respectful tone you expect from people representing a major retailer. If this is how they treat someone trying to work there, imagine how they treat the people who already do. I’ll let the complaint make its way to them, maybe it’ll teach them what basic courtesy looks like. The kiosks, though? 10/10. Never rude, never sarcastic, and they actually do their job.
I love coming to this store always clean and tidy the staff are lovely and always willing to help when needed there is never to much trouble when asked questions. The new manager is also always so helpful and friendly I enjoy visiting the store and seeing his friendly face.

Went to self checkout to get redbull and had to wait for assistance. A young blonde girl was talking on the headset behind the counter. Took me ages to get her attention, when she finally came over, didn’t say hello or make eye contact with me, slammed something onto the screen and was swearing at her friend on headset (the f word) and strutted off. I was gobsmacked at the customer service it was beyond awful. So disappointed in sainsburys for letting someone like this interact with customers
Very good staffs. Though all items are not always available overall good for their helpfulness.It also serves as a collection point for Argos
