Since becoming Morrisons, the shop has dropped off a cliff. The Post Office is barely open and the shelves are almost bare
Shocking customer service!!! Went to post a parcel within their opening hours (went around 5.30pm and shop opened till 8pm according to online and times on the door), shop was closing and guy said they weren't taking any parcels today anyway! They just pick and choose their closing times which is pathetic!! How can you run a business if you can't stick to your opening hours!? What a joke this shop is! Sort your flipping hours out and stick to them!!
Absolutely shocking service at the post office today by the 'manager' and his colleague Lewis. Post Office closes at 5:30pm and the smaller post office at the cash register was supposed to be open but unmanned. When I got there I was the 4th person in the queue and when I queried this with the manager in the post office he said that we would have to wait 10 minutes until they cash up. 2 people behind 2 closed positions and neither of them had the common sense for one of them to cash up at 5:15pm so that the front post office could be manned by 5:30pm. When I challenged them both on this the response I got was 'well it's not the end of the world'. So unprofessional and unfriendly. The manager said they had been working 'all day', the same as the rest of us! And when we come into a post office we expect to be served promptly and not have to wait for 2 members of staff to cash up! By the time lewis did eventually open the other post office there were 6 people in the queue and another who had given up. Just completely unsatisfactory and their excuses were utter nonsense.
Absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated at this post office today. The man who served me was completely out of order—he shouted at me in front of the whole shop just because I asked for help with my V5C slip. His explanation made no sense, so I politely asked if he could explain it more clearly, and he completely lost it. He was rude, aggressive, and totally unprofessional. Honestly, he’s lucky I kept my cool—anyone else might not have.
Staff are nice but this shop can't be relied on. Sometimes decide not to open and close when deliveries come in. As a shop you think they'd put a better plan in place to deal with deliveries rather than just shut and say come back later. That's not possible when people are trying to pop in on the way to work which most people are in the morning. Extremely frustrating.
Love this shop, always have fab deals on and great value bits, useful post office inside and the staff are always so friendly and kind.
Wrong opening hrs..... Went round about 5.50 on Xmas day and closed despite advertising till 6.30
