My friend and I needed a place to stay not too far from Leeds for a night. It wasn't central but that was fine as we had rented a car and we were just passing through. The room we got was exactly as described and it had everything we needed for a short stay. For anything else you might need you can just pop over to the shop opposite it.

Dtayed here twice. Good value for money both times place has been clean as expected. My only small gripe is the 10:30am checkout hence the 4 stars for service. If I was a business traveller then this would not be an issue but I stay there for visiting friends so it usually involves a late night so a normal 12:00 checkout would be a lot more favourable to me

I stayed in room "G" (December 2022) Bathroom items (towels & toiletries) and kitchen items (hot beverages, cutlery, cups and plates) provided. Mould around tiles in shower. Room deserves a paint. It is situated next to the pub. Only takeaways nearby. 10-15 minute ride into Halifax town centre. Bus stop nearby. Noise from other guests and main road. Got constantly woken up at 5am and 530am by noisy female guests slaming doors snd shouting. Not a very relaxing stay. Really could be a lovely place if managed and cleaned properly.

Situated beside a pub but not noisy in November. It seemed spacious on entering but it didn't smell ckean even with 2 windows open on a very cold day! Bedding was stained and musty as were towels. No soap in bathroom and litter on floor and dirty bathroom. It soon heated up with large radiator and extra heater provided but a large mirror on wheels blocked things and was un necessary when there was already a long wall mirror. Heating and water didn't work next morning and a microwave doesn't constitute a kitchenette!! Contacted agent/ owner twice who was helpful and suggest we move rooms but I wasn't confident anywhere had been cleaned. She said I could go to somewhere to reset heating but I looked at it on our hasty retreat and was glad we didn't go.. The cupboard she called a communal kitchen was full of appliances and dirty laundry. She was meeting the cleaning staff and getting in touch with TripAdvisor for a refund for us but we have heard nothing 19 days later despite being on chatbox. Lovely view of the Church next morning, could be a lovely place if managed and cleaned properly.

Apartment itself was nice. Bathroom items(towels, toiletries) and kitchen items ( beverage, cutlery, cups and plates) provided. It is situated next to the pub( no food served), even in the same building I think. We couldn't really find any proper food serving pub/restaurant in the walking distance only take aways.

The View of Wainhouse tower (tallest folly in the world at 84 meters) Simplistic and easy non contact check in, and comfy beds are all reasons why you should visit Grey Stone Studio Apartments, the surrounding area is also fantastic, with a choice of pubs available on the same road, and a One Stop convenience store opposite across the street from the property!
