   Convenient location and parking was a bonus. Friendly restaurant staff especially at breakfast. The lady taking orders and serving breakfast were friendly and good customer service. Rooms are dated but kept clean, we could have done with some bottled water in the room, we had to go out to get some drinking water from a shop not too far of a walk from the hotel, unfortunately it was raining heavily. Our room was directly above the pub which meant noise until the pub closed, luckily they closed early being a weekday but I can imagine would have be an inconvenience during a weekend.

   Comfortable and spacious rooms. Secure off road parking . Breakfast was tasty at a responsible price. One downside when we stayed, was it was very warm. We only had a small fan to keep us cool. Struggled to get the windows to stay open for better ventilation.

   Decent hotel in a good location near town just a short walk from the principality stadium. Its about 15 mins drive to the bay erea with loads of places to eat. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom but a bit dusty. We didn't try the food but the bar is good with lots of ales. Car park is a bit tight with limited spaces. The floorboards are very creaky from the rooms above and the road noise and people drinking out front can be noisy. Overall not perfect but not bad for the price. ( Unless there is an event on like a concert then the price can more than double).

   The Beverley is the best. Our room was large, comfortable and quiet enough for good afternoon naps and sleeping in. We didn't notice noise from other rooms. Housekeeping was professional but personal, and happy to help with small things like an extra box of tissues. Just downstairs, the Beverley Pub fulfilled every other possible requirement for a unique and memorable visit. In the pub we found not only excellent food and drink, but a public space used by visitors and neighbors for gatherings, large and small. Privacy was respected, but it was also possible to have a conversation with your neighbor or the staff, if they weren't too busy. The staff and management practiced the best kind of hospitality; warm, open, professional, and caring. And finally, the Beverley's location in Pontcanna can't be beat for access to Bute Park, the Castle, City Centre, the National Museum, Llandaff Cathedral, the University, and the Sofia Gardens Coach Station. We look forward to our return to Cardiff, and to the Beverley.

   Cleanliness was outstanding Noises in the room from other rooms people talking, the fans in other peoples bathroom, there is no soundproofing whatsoever Heating on full and no option to turn off or down so it made the room hot and dry. This is not a family friendly hotel

   The breakfast was amazing, we loved having the choice from the breakfast menu. The shower room was really modern and everything was super clean. The only drawback was the fact that the room was quite noisy with sounds from below. I'm not sure whether it's above the kitchen but there was a loud fan or machine. I sleep with ear plugs so it didn't really affect me until the morning

   As always, a great welcome, fab staff throughout our stay, a lovely spotlessly clean room. Bed was so comfy, pillows were too hard for me but ideal for hubby. It was very hot in the room despite no heating on. Have already booked to go again.
