   On Saturday 29th November me and my partner wanted some fabric cutting, we asked two members of staff if they could assist, they said they would call someone. An hour later and still no one came to us, there was no staff upstairs to help, so we had to leave. shocking customer service.

   Visited the cafe. Service was slow and messy but the tables were in a terrible mess. Piled high with uncollected plates and cups. Many of them had been there for some time looking at the dried up food on them. Customers were clearing spaces themselves. I felt it let the store down and gave an unprofessional view overall

   This afternoon, 08/11/2025, in Dunelm, Rugby, carpet and mat section, intent on buying a large mat for our conservatory, my wife and I needed assistance from a member of staff. I walked around and spotted a female staff assistant, who was looking after a couple of lady customers. The staff assistant very charmingly said that she would come and look after us as soon as she was free. Whilst we carried on with our mat selection, another female staff assistant was passing by us. So we asked her for assistance. This she managed to provide. However, we had the distinct impression that we were a tiresome irritation. We progressed on our choice….but only just! And the sad assistant went on her way. To our rescue appeared our first staff assistant…Dionne was her name…as she promised. Lovely friendly smile, so polite and responsive attitude, and instinctively assisted us in completing our choice of mat, rolled it up and secured it with elastic bands for our convenience. We thanked her for her lovely, impressionable service. Dunelm service reputation was redeemed by Dionne’s engaging assistance. Please relay our thanks again to Dionne.

   Love this store but can't continue to shop here because it's moved to self-serve. There were two members of staff on duty - one telling people to self serve and one on a till at the far end. I replied I don't use self-serve tills, and the staff member told me I'll have to when it's busy. If there is no service, I'll shop online :)

   Yes, it's Dunelm. it's large and a bit sparce. Staff were very helpful but don't expect to be blown away with choice it's all very samey. Shame really as dunelm always used to be a bit of an Aladins cave.

   I will advise everyone to remember the product prices when buying anything here, and check your receipt properly. I was charged normal price on a product that was 50% off. The cashier said that was the normal price and she cannot apply any discount. So I went back and took a picture of the promo price, for which she then applied the promo price. I then found out that she scanned 3x a product which I bought only two. So ensure you know the prices of what you are buying otherwise it might get scanned at normal price.

   We visited this new store as we were visiting relatives in the area and needed a couple of lampshades. This place large with a well laid out display of all goods. We were greeted with a smile at the door as we went exploring. We viewed the extensive display finding exactly what we wanted. As the light display is near the cafe we partook of refreshment.- again smiling staff providing good service and refreshment. With easy close parking will visit again.

   Shop very crowded with stock, mostly throws! Cafe had run out of several items by one pm so customers were leaving. One staff member preparing and serving food had her long hair down , wore jeans and an apron and another had bright red nail polish on. Both no no's in catering. Needs a manager to sort the cafe out Coffe was nice though.

   Brightly lit and nicely decorated, it reminded me of Ikea and Bed Bath and beyond. However, on the first floor is their trademark specialty- made to order, customized curtains. They had a good selection of fabric and also displays. Their was a dedicated and staffed desk for curtain Enquiries. All sewing is done in the UK! Downstairs, and kind of lost in the dining area is a selection of by the yard a bed dil me, superior quality vinyl table covers. Around a dozen so we’re displayed, but none really caught my fancy. The quality was good to the touch, but colors and styles were a bit dull, or childish. Overall, it’s a welcome addition to the Elliot’s Field shopping center, even though Debenhams, which Dunelm has replaced, is sorely missed. I did find a lot of crockery made in China, which was very well made and well priced. Some pieces which I was sure would be UK n Made, turned out to be China. Some finer pieces made in the UK, would be a welcome addition. The prices were in keeping with other shops in the vicinity, and some were actually better.
