I had lovely time there, the Staff was friendly, coffe great, and the meal.. the best in england. Surely will come back soon.
Popped in here prior to Fireworks at The Moorings. They squeezed my family of four in at very short notice and service was excellent. Maître d was excellent and super friendly. Food was good pub grub and was reasonably priced.
Our stay was very charming — the hotel is spotless, cozy, and filled with warm, welcoming people. Special thanks to Maggie at breakfast, who was extremely helpful with tips and such a kind lady. She made our morning truly delightful. The food at the restaurant was excellent.
Lovely pub inside and out. Our family gathered there to remember my aunt, following her funeral nearby. All staff were pleasant and polite, food was excellent and amenities clean and well equipped. I would definitely return there
Attended a close friends wedding here and cannot thank the staff enough for the hard work, attention to detail, friendly manner and great food! The room I stayed in has recently been renovated so was a modern touch in a rustic-charmed hotel/pub. Always happy to stay or eat here. Very well priced as well.
We attended today for Mothers Day. It was out time here I would highly recommend going. The food was amazing, couldn't fault it at all. The service was just as good. Thank you for such a lovely lunch. We will return
i had a revolutionary experience from this establishment, i was a first hand witness of the wonders of pub chips. My son ordered some cheesy chips and he was cured of his Aspergers! my son no longer plays with fidget spinners and calls my wife crude words! lots of love Walt Cunningham.
Had a lovely lunch with my granddaughter. All our food was lovely. Piping hot and good portions. It was my granddaughters birthday and her dessert came with candles and Happy birthday written in chocolate. All delicious. Staff were great.
OMG the best boxing day meal we have ever had. Great food, nothing was to much trouble for the very friendly staff. We will definitely be going again & again.
We went months ago and I was the worst meal we gave ever had, the gamon was over cooked and had balsamic vinegar all over every thing, the chips on it looked reheated and were hard and cold, the other dish was stake witch had balsamic vinegar all over the plate too, the steak was like rubber and the chips were the same as the other dish, we checked the menu and there was no mention of the balsamic vinegar on it, we both left the food and told them we wouldn't pay for the food as it was not eatable, so we only paid for the drinks and had to go elsewhere to eat. So we would recommend you avoid this place.
