Very happy with our room, close to where we were going out and the staff stayed on to check us in because we got held up in traffic for over an hour. Still slogged us for a late check in mind, but it's all good I'd happily stay here again. Thanks

We chose this hotel as it’s very convenient for the event we’ve been to Emporium. It’s few minutes by walk. Rooms are clean and big.

Nice little bar beer was OK service was OK never tried the hotel side so can't comment on that. The biggest negative was the lack of food but I will pop in for a beer again in the future.

I rarely leave reviews unless the experience is extremely bad. If I could give 0 stars, I would. After working since 4am, our car broke down and I got to the hotel at 7:45pm. Receptionist was lovely, bless her. But the hotel was disappointing: no food despite Google and booking.com saying they do, even a Just Eat sign outside. Mirror height in bathroom seemed for kids. Heater only in German, hard to set. Rooms ok but my TV turned on whenever the neighbor used theirs.

Used the hotel to visit family in the area. Staff were pleasant at check in but room and bathroom had lots of visible dirt and cobwebs. There were fewer cups and glasses than guests and light fittings were broken. The location was what we needed but maintenance is below standard.

Visited The Pickled Mushroom @ the halfway hotel. Fantastic food, fast lovely restaurant/bar area. It's definitely worth a visit!

Nice hotel with very friendly n helpful staff. We booked a family room for 3. Hotel has a large parking space right next to it. Plenty of shops n groceries along the road. Recommended.

Paid for 2 nights. Cost £200 for Friday and Saturday night. Over rated, over priced, on the ground floor right by the night door, no sleep as people came in all night long. Wanted to actually speak to someone about this, but unfortunately all doors locked, could not even gain access to the hotel. You leave key in a lock box. Also no breakfast………. Should have booked a Premier Inn at least their you get value for money and breakfast for a reasonable price.!
