   Premier Inn is, typically, a good option for a cheap but reasonable hotel, as one can rely on them for clean rooms, positive service, and an all-round great experience. Unfortunately, the Premier Inn at Leamington Spa is the exception. From arrival we had to wait 10 minutes for a member of staff to arrive to check us in - some Premier Inns have electronic self-check in devices, and this one did have them, but they were out of order. After the staff member arrived, she was completely belligerent. We had booked two rooms, and our names were on both rooms, but she would not let us check into both rooms. She would only allow us to check into one room, despite having the confirmation on a phone to show her. She continued to argue with us about our booking. When we finally got a card to our first room, it was wrong. Our other family members arrived, and we were able to check into our second room. The first room was also unclean - the table had some kind of sticky purple residue, as if somebody had spilled juice and left it to dry rather than wiping it up. The rooms were overly warm, likely because the windows could not be opened - this is a standard feature of most Premier Inn hotels, but it is worse than the air conditioning is not working as effectively as it should be. We had also booked Premier Plus rooms, but received standard rooms. We did not have dinner in the restaurant, but the food at breakfast was exactly what you'd expect from a Premier Inn breakfast - a satisfying, if somewhat unhealthy, breakfast. The staff were friendly. However, for some reason, water was not an option.

   The Premier Plus room was amazing. Large, it was well furnished, well lit yet calm, in tones of grey, with purple up lights above bed head and fulsome full length curtains at the long window. The bed was very large, extremely comfortable and had lovely white bedding. Hanging cupboard with full length mirror on the face. Alongside there is a lighted vanity mirror, hairdryer in a holder. Great for doing hair and makeup. Great desk, office chair. Table lamp and real coffee maker and kettle for tea. Wing easy chair with footstool to relax in watching wall TV. Rain and standard shower in the roomy bathroom. All very clean. Spotless. Staff were excellent. Very welcoming and very helpful. Security locks on doors to access corridors to rooms. Good choice of cooked breakfast is served in adjacent stylish Bar+Block Steakhouse. I also had lunch there... delicious perfectly cooked rump steak and chips with salad. Again staff in here were very welcoming. Highly recommend. Excellent value for money too. You can be really comfortable here, located in the town centre, and with parking 5 minutes walk away, round the corner in multi story car park.

   Excellent central location and room was spacious and clean. Service good and friendly. I also managed to get a very favourable rate for 2 nights. Only drawback is the nearest car park is 15 minutes away and is pay and display.

   We know that Premier Inns have their niche in the market, but wow. From the moment we were checking in, you surpassed all our expectations. Staff, amazing, room, huge, clean, bath in the bathroom lovely, and the breakfast next morning was like a restaurant meal. All very fresh. Highly recommend and would certainly stay again. Thank you ❤️

   On this occasion feel bit let down due to the building work going on and the fact that the builders took over 1 of 2 lifts and closed the stairs. We would have gladly of taken the stairs, which we noted the builders didn’t actually use in the 15 minute wait we had to endure due to the builders taking over 1 of the lifts. Room was good, but didn’t have breakfast as we wanted to try different places. We did end up eating in the attached pub one evening and the food was amazing

   Excellent location and really friendly staff. The only let down was that room smelt faintly of urine when you walked in and the toilet seat was stained. Despite that, the room was a good size and the bed was super comfy, leading to a great nights sleep. The breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of choice for everyone, including our friend who is vegan.

   Amazing hotel! We were greeted by Denisa who is an absolute gem and a true credit to the company! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the area...The location of the hotel is perfect and the room was immaculate... To say that you cannot go wrong booking a Premier Inn is an understatement based on our experience! I regularly stay in hotels which are a lot more expensive through my work and I have to say this particular branch felt much more premium than the majority of them!

   Excellent value for money! Lovely spacious family room. Really nice touch of colouring and sweeties left in the room for the children. Perfect central location. Breakfast was great especially the service!
