“Very helpful practice, I arrived unannounced, with a cat in my arms, which I thought may be lost. They immediately assessed the cat, checked for a microchip(which it unfortunately didn’t have) and then leant me a pet carrier to take it back in. ALL FREE OF CHARGE. I later found out who the owner was and the cat was reunited with them, so that is a happy ending. I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff for their kindness, which is sometimes not shown in this day and age.”

“Medivet Upper Grove Street is a fantastic Veterinary surgery. The staff are very kind, efficient and caring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. They take really good care of my dogs and my cat.”

“The Premier Plus room was amazing. Large, it was well furnished, well lit yet calm, in tones of grey, with purple up lights above bed head and fulsome full length curtains at the long window. The bed was very large, extremely comfortable and had lovely white bedding. Hanging cupboard with full length mirror on the face. Alongside there is a lighted vanity mirror, hairdryer in a holder. Great for doing hair and makeup. Great desk, office chair. Table lamp and real coffee maker and kettle for tea. Wing easy chair with footstool to relax in watching wall TV. Rain and standard shower in the roomy bathroom. All very clean. Spotless. Staff were excellent. Very welcoming and very helpful. Security locks on doors to access corridors to rooms. Good choice of cooked breakfast is served in adjacent stylish Bar+Block Steakhouse. I also had lunch there... delicious perfectly cooked rump steak and chips with salad. Again staff in here were very welcoming. Highly recommend. Excellent value for money too. You can be really comfortable here, located in the town centre, and with parking 5 minutes walk away, round the corner in multi story car park.”

I trust Emily wholeheartedly with him and I know she treats all of the dogs she walks as if they were her own, also helps that he absolutely adores her and goes crazy the second he sees her! “The rooms were nice, but I didn’t like the mirrors. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they really cared about the guests. Our kids even got coloring books, which was a lovely touch. You can easily reach the retail park on foot. Breakfast Buffet was really good and dinner too.”

“If your dog's a serious chewer then treat them to one of these. Our terrier has destroyed three 'indestructible' dog beds from other places but he hasn't made a dent in this in a month and he won't leave it alone! It's beautifully made and whisper it, made in the UK. As the icing on the cake, the guys who own the shop are lovely and actually give a damn about dogs. Oh, and no, we're not related to the owners - we've only met them once!”

“Dan was recommended to us last year and so glad he was. He always puts Annie our cockapoo at ease with each appointment and he is a really friendly, communicative guy. He gives 110% to each groom on Annie and does a thorough job and we are always pleased. We are moving away from the area but are prepared to travel back three hours to continue to use Dan. We are not surprised he has such growing popularity and still increasing.”

“Wonderful experience here. The owners and staff are super friendly. The location is great - on a quiet, pretty street a 6 minute walk from the station, and the room was spotless and well appointed. And breakfast was tasty and generous. For the price it’s a superb guesthouse”

“Cleaning, kitchen items, basic food items are coffee and tea are excellent. I expected some basic drink, but it is ok. I'm not happy with TV, if it android could me much better. Except NETFLIX, no other apps or channels are not available for my entertainment point.”

“I cannot recommend What the Pup enough! Compared to the previous ones I’ve used (3!) they have a better availability and are reliable! They send you booking confirmations, reminders, receipts, pictures. Very friendly and professional staff. And mainly my nervous dog actually lets them handle her! They managed to even clean her teeth which I haven’t been able to!”
