Absolute joke. Had many messages to contact them for a flu jab (I have an autoimmune disease) that the GP suggested I should definitely have. Phoned and asked face to face with receptionist many times for my jab, but always give the same reply - "sorry, we haven't got any available for this month, try calling in a few days for next month". What a joke. Thanks!

My previous experiences have always been very positive with polite receptionists and helpful doctors. However, there is one receptionist whose behaviour is unbelievable. I joined the queue and used the callback service but never got a callback. When I called again later in the morning it was clear that she did not believe me. Her tone was dismissive and unnecessarily hostile. It’s a real shame when one person lets the whole team down :(

Sick to death of trying to get an appointment at this place. To see a GP you have to join their 'telephone lottery'. You can only call them at 8am or 2pm (they won't accept any other times). And you're competing with the rest of the residents in Dinas Powys - so you can only PRAY you get through to reception. I spent 40 minutes trying to get through (they were engaged the whole time) only to be told there were no more appointments available and to try again tomorrow. They've been operating this way for as long as I can remember. They spent all this money upgrading their facilities but still use this antiquated booking system - why not use a digital system?!

Very polite staff, will check with pharmacist if they need help. Consultation room present for privacy. Many items for sale as well as your prescription provided. There use to be access to the GP surgery via an inside access, this was closed on this occasion, so you had to leave and go next door. Big car park, well laid out.

Terrible that we still have to wait for phonecalls. It's as if they don't want to see patients. Also, was told to wear face covering despite the staff not doing so.

This is the most crazy place to put a medical centre. Right at the top of a steep hill. It nearly kills me walking up there. I feel I need to see a doctor when I get there. Who's brain dead idea was it to put it there???

To Dawn receptionist (If this person exists) just to say how disappointed I was with her slamming the phone down on my first call. And for her echoing response of I am not speaking to you anymore on the second call when I requested to speak to the office manager. I was concerned about my son health and felt my request to be reasonable But dealt with very clinically and unprofessionally. I hope this attitude never causes serious implications, try listening and helping that what your paid to do. Ps Still waiting my call back hope they listen to the recording.

Dinas Powys Medical centre has a beacon of light in the form of Wendy Ahearne. Often times it is frustrating to try and get through to the centre but once you do and manage to speak to Wendy A it is a joy, her assistance, kindness and willingness to go above and beyond makes her a most valuable team member. Thank you to whomever hired Wendy, it was the best decision ever made for the practice. The five stars is for Wendy Ahearne.
