   Stayed here for one night , Reception staff were very friendly, ( Nat ) checked us in very easily and quickly, The room was so spacious and clean , beds comfy , I Liked the way bathroom door accommodated the toilet and bathroom entrance ( new to me ) Had a Quiet night sleep , breakfast was great , All the staff were so friendly . Reception area etc beautifully decorated for Christmas , Would definitely stay here again

   Just wanted to say thank you to the reception staff here for dealing with my clumsy attempt to hack off my little finger with a badly packed razor blade. Both before and after I fainted, the staff were fantastic, particularly the lass on reception who had the first aid skills to deal with what transpired. Thank you very very much. I hope your company knows how valuable such staff is! I won't add photos if it's all the same to you Google.

   I had an emergency overnight stay here with my teenagers whilst my broken down vehicle was being recovered. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout and I thought it was excellent value for money. The rooms were well kept and clean as were the communal areas. Breakfast in the room price and no hidden charges. Location ideally off the M4 for us on this occasion. Thanks to all the ladies who took care of us and gave us welcome shelter. I signed up to the holiday in program.

   A big hotel with a welcoming lounge, large bedrooms, very impressed with room we stayed in. Comfy Queen size bed. Sofa. Clean bathroom and shower.very quiet too. A huge choice for Breakfast , continental or cooked.£12 taxi to train station.

   Having been here many times it yet again lived up to our expectations. Felt like coming home as the team leader on the front desk remembered us and was his usual happy self. Forgive me I forgot his name. At an exceptionally busy time you felt they put time off for you. We ask for the car park side of the hotel as we find it quieter. He has put that on our file so we don’t have to keep minding them. The lady at breakfast also remembered us, well our Scottish accent. She also put time onto chat on a really busy breakfast shift. It’s the little things like this we like. Rooms and passage ways were spotless as usual. Beds are so comfortable and everything we need in the room. Well done holiday express Newport.

   Been here a few times over the years and couldn’t be happier. The main shout out for me has to be the staff, it’s always busy however the staff always give you time and help wherever they can. For the price, great breakfast selection & close transport links to Newport & Cardiff you just can’t go wrong in my opinion. Thank you to all the staff for making my stays enjoyable and memorable, can’t wait to see you again!

   Brilliant room very clean exactly what you want if you’re looking for a low budget stay. The location was only a ten minute walk from the city centre, lots to see and do! The room was perfect size, clean, fan to keep the room cool, Netflix, lots of storage space, and comfortable bed with white clean sheets. When we arrived last night we were greeted by a wonderful receptionist, she was so friendly and super helpful with any questions we had as we haven't stayed in Newport before. Me and my partner would definitely come back if we stay again, as we loved our experience.

   I being there for one night with my family while visiting Cardiff. It is well located and not far from M4. Economically it can be a good choice if you visiting Cardiff and it’s surrounding. The receptions are professional and friendly. They have variety rooms which are clean and comfortable. Breakfast fast are free and good standard. It’s also has car park and EV charging station. Overall I have really enjoyed my stay at the place and highly recommended.

   Rooms are OK, air-conditioning helped. I found the bed comfortable enough. Service in the restaurant wasn't great, quality and selection of food was limited, the pizza being the best opinion but not great for a week long stay. Again breakfast choices are limited. The location suited my needs. Might be OK for a one night stay but not really anything longer, also you are better eating in the Dragonfly next door, better food, service and atmosphere.
