“We used We Love Pets Newport for the first time this weekend and are really pleased we did. We have two adopted kittens born in lockdown so they are quite nervous being left alone and are pretty timid with new people. Nikki was great with them. She came and met them beforehand and was obviously very knowledgeable and professional. She made me feel really comfortable leaving them at home for the first time. Nikki visited exactly when she said she would, did what we asked, and sent us photos of them after the visit so we knew they were OK. It was also clear from the photos that the kitties responded well to her and allowed her close enough to pet which is great for them. We will definitely use the service next time we need to go away and would recommend!”

He was very busy booking guests in, but still provided great customer service. The room was clean and tidy. The beefeater next door was fantastic for dinner and breakfast. Will be staying again.”

“It’s a very convenient solution for accommodation. Very clean in the room and also the kitchen which is very big. Use the parking area of ASDA which is only 5 min walking. The staff was also friendly. If you visit Cardiff, %100 recommend this place. Suitable for couples as well. No issue.”

A special mention has to go to Emma and Liz, who always go above and beyond to make guests feel valued. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care make such a difference – nothing is ever too much trouble, and they are a real credit to the hotel. The bar and restaurant team also deserve huge praise. Service is always attentive and welcoming, and the food is excellent. Breakfast in particular is a highlight – a great choice, fresh, and always served with a smile, which makes starting the day that little bit better. It’s rare to find such consistency week after week, but this hotel delivers it every time. The staff really do make the difference here, and it’s the reason I keep coming back. They also have specials for front line and social care workers that were really appreciated as well as vouchers for parking in the city centre. It's very conveniently located. I'd recommend having a 'do not disturb' sign as we had people knocking on the door twice in a 1 night stay. We were right by the lifts so maybe just bad luck there.”

“Great hotel, recently and still doing some modernization. Bang up-to-date modern wall panels and decorations. Bed really comfortable. Great breakfast cooked to order. Location is typical of a city nowadays BUT is just outside the centre within easy walk of Rodney parade football and rugby stadium. Not far from the station. I will be going back. Oh free parking.”

The rooms were clean, tidy and fresh and we were able to extend our stay and change to a family room instead of 2 rooms with no hassle.
