Very basic. On entering our room, it reminded us of visiting someone in hospital. Toilet in bathroom on its own, sink next to the bed. Sink gurgled whenever used so not great if you need to get up in the night. I have to say that the shower was good and the bed was comfortable though.

Stayed for 1 night, cheap price basic room but clean, double cavity window so although next to main road couldn't here any traffic noise. Small but Comfy beds, air con/heater worked well. Continental breakfast was available but we didn't have it. They do in house pizzas at Β£8.50 on evenings which were actually quite good. Large free carpark, staff are friendly.

Firstly the hotel is clean and quiet. Good value for money. However we booked ages ago and called after booking to ensure the rooms were next to each other as we had a 9 and 14 year old with us. When we arrived we were told the rooms were on a different floor. We explained we had children but nothing could be done. It caused us a lot of anxiety and problems and kinda ruined the weekend for us. It was especially annoying as we had called to ensure the rooms would be next to each other. We explained this on arrival but nothing could be done. As a result I would advise any families with young kids avoiding booking with ibis budget. Sorry.

The staff are very friendly and helpful - they cannot be faulted! Location is great, easy to find and even though it's right next to the M4, it's quite peaceful! The rooms were okay... I've paid the same money for better rooms at Premier Inn and Travelodge though. The room was very basic, which is fine! However, the toilet is extremely small and very low to the ground. It's very claustrophobic when the door is shut. The shower is fine, its basically a little shower pod in the room - but did the job fine. The big issue was the A/C. We put the heating on in the room - don't think its been cleaned out ever because as soon as we put it on, we were sneezing and coughing, have tickly throats which is still affecting us 12 hours after leaving. Please consider cleaning these!

For a budget hotel, thereβs really nothing to complain about. Great hotel for a short stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. As a light sleeper, I really appreciated how quiet and well soundproofed the room was. The room is simply furnished but has everything you need. Continental breakfast was a nice surprise: not a huge selection, but everything was fresh, high quality, and included the option to take a coffee to go.

We booked this hotel for one night as a layover on our journey we only needed something basis for a night and thought this hotel would fit the bill sadly not. The positives the hotel is located off the main motorway and parking was free. Sadly that is about it. The hotel felt very dodgy and doesnβt appear to have been maintained at all. We weβre allocated a twin room on the second floor which was well below par the room felt sticky, un clean, and there were layers of dust everywhere. The bed sheets were stained and ripped. We went to reception to ask to move rooms this was done and the staff didnβt bat an eyelid or ask what was wrong. This made us wonder if this was a common occurrence. The new room was better but still not as clean as expected if has been worse we would have left. Overall you get a what you pay for but given a lot of the other reviews say how clean it was we experienced the opposite and wouldnβt recommend staying.

How to judge this hotel..... Its a budget hotel so no thrills were expected. I stayed one night as part of group booking of 2 rooms. I had a twin and the other room was a double but had a single bunk bed (family room) above the double. Room was functional but basic. Bed was OK, sleep was also OK considering. Main down side was how cold the room was due to the cold air coming from the closed window. Shower, small sink both OK and toilet which was so low a toddler could get on it without issue. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Car park extends quite away but the main part by the hotel entrance was full on arrival (about 30 spaces) so parked in the wider unlit car park further away which isn't a secure car park. Location is right next to the m4 junction 26, couldn't hear the motorway traffic at night

For the price, I would say itβs definitely worth it. The bed was comfy, the facilities were as described and all very clean. It was basic, but thatβs what you expect with a budget hotel. Friendly staff and it was a pleasant night stay.

We booked here as it allowed us to bring our 2 little chihuahuas with us. You get what you pay for...a room with a bed. We slept well on the bed..the memory foam topper was lovely and comfortable. En suite toilet. Was nice and warm and you have a thermostat in your room so you can adjust it to suit you. Its wasn't noisy at all and is kept nice and clean.
