great room service. Overall cleanliness was great. very good and understanding staff. only 10-15 min walk from cardiff central station and town centre.
Absolutely spotless. Lovely breakfast, plenty of choice. Was a bit concerned about it being shared bathroom but needn't have worried, all individual lockable shower room. Location was good but did take "two oldies" a little while to walk to the shops.
The room was extremely spacious and felt very homey, The staff were very attentive and helpful in their messages to me on Whatsapp. They offered a lovely breakfast for 5 pounds even though I didn't partake in it. The location is extremely convenient for downtown and the train station. I loved it here.
The Riverhouse location was so central and easily accessible from Cardiff Central train station. Indoors, the shared kitchen was spacious and accommodating and many of the bedrooms and bathrooms were upstairs but there was enough for everybody to share that it hardly felt like sharing! Would definitely stay here again.
Fab location. Would recommend this property. Hadnt realised upon booking that the rooms were not en-suite but there are so many bathroom facilities/showers available (which were all spotlessly clean) it really wasnt an issue. the continental breakfast was also an added bonus.
it was my first experience with Airbnb I was a little bit skeptical but I find it amazing. The apartment was very clean me and my wife liked it a lot. I would definitely recommend it.
We stayed in The Riverhouse for a week and really enjoyed it! There was a self check in, which was explained in detail in an email befor the arrival. Everything was super clean and comfy. You get a little breakfast for 3£ per day. The kitchen is very well equipped and the hosts provide coffee, tea, milk, spices, oil, etc. for the guests. The location of the hostel is almost perfect. You need just some minutes to go to the city center and there are many bus stations nearby. If I will ever visit Cardiff again, I will stay at The Riverhouse for sure!
I stayed at the Riverhouse due to me being a guest at a wedding a little bit outside of Cardiff. The room itself was splendid and the common areas were kept as clean as can be: every morning I would see people, including Charlie himself, clean and put a lot of effort in just upholding the living areas as much as possible. If I am staying in Cardiff again, I will absolutely consider coming back to the Riverhouse: it's very close to the central area, a short walk away, but still enough to be away from the ruckus that the Cardiff nightlife brings with it! The check-in and check-out procedure was also very clear and leaves room for some leniency towards the people staying at the hotel. I'd recommend taking a look at this B&B if you're planning on visiting Cardiff.
All fob and keycode access. Easy to follow instructions off emails. Room overlooking River. Coffee/tea available 24/7 from kitchen. Comfortable bed, very clean and easy to contact staff for any enquiries via mobile. Only downside for me was constant noise of room doors banging throughout the night. This was probably due to the safety closers on the doors. Really spoiled my stay, consequently not the sleep I needed or intended to have. Beyond the fault of the hoteliers, but something that may be considered going forward? Independent hotel, good price, and very central to Cardiff City centre about 10 minutes walk to the castle. I would stay there again.
This place is wonderful! Very convenient location, well kept, and clean. I felt safe through my stay which is important since I am a female traveling alone. I recommend adding the breakfast its convenient and great for the price. Plenty of side options to go along with the ham and cheese croissant, you will not be left hungry. The staff is kind and helpful. Rooms are quaint and well kept. 10/10 highly recommend.
